/ after the celebration the twins had gotten a few small presents, Lan Wangji had turned 18 while Lan Xichen had turned 20 the year, they were talking in a private room when suddenly they heard a. cracking noise /

they took the rubies and were about to go to their uncle to what they were but before they could the rubies cracked open with blood flowing everywhere and covering the brothers in blood suddenly one of the cracked rubies started to glow very bright and with a blinding light a man appeared, he had a striking figure with beutiful blue eyes and black hair that was tide by a red ribbon he wore a black robe with red flowers imprinted on it.

He immediately rushed towards Lan wangji and bit him in the neck, that's when xichen noticed that the man had blood red fairy wings.

He was shocked but before he could unsheathe his sword the second ruby started to glow and the same thing happend but the man that appeared from the second ruby had brown eyes and was wearing a purple robe with black flowers imprinted on it, he instead rushed towards Lan xichen and also bit his neck, after a little while the Lan siblings lost consciousness /

/ the next morning /

- in the infirmary -

[ Lan xichen] < slowly waking up > - wha-what happend?

[ diciple ] - s-sir, you're awake , I'll go call the physician

[ Lan xichen ] ( what happend last night ?, wait.. I remember... those rubies cracked and.. those two guys they.. they bit us , but.... why..why did they bite us.. better yet what were they, the had wings and also sharp ears , I need to tell uncle but... will he believe me? Doesn't matter I need to tell him, there was already evidence, the room was covered in blood the cracked rubies were on the table, so why he believe me? )
