1 The Blood Mage

Many people think magic is a fairy tale but in this world magic is a way of life. People known as Mages have spent their lives practicing magic or either have had a magic crystal implanted in them. There are some magic types that are illegal to have such as blood magic.There is one blood magic mage that is different from the others and his name is Bren. Bren was a pretty tall and average built male he had brown hair and tan skin and a sleeveless black and red coat. The most noticeable feature are Bren's bandages that are around his eyes, hands and arms.

Bren is a part of a guild called the "Shining Bats" it's a guild for people that don't feel wanted. The leader known as Earthus was asked to watch over Bren. Earthus is an Earth Dragon magic user and is one of the most advanced users of Dragon magic he also has a tall and bulky build. "Bren come over here" Earthus demanded "Yeah" Bren said "Give me a full report of the mission" Earthus said "Successful as usual" Bren said in a sleepy voice. Only few know about Bren's past that led him to be a quiet individual.

"Details?" Earthus asked "Ran into a few bandits on the way nothing i can't handle by myself and ran into an old foe of mine what else...yeah thats all" Bren explained. "And the princess?" Earthus asked "She's alive" Bren said as Earthus sighed "You know Bren why don't you join a group? As your guild leader and your caretaker I want you to be more social with the guild" Earthus said "I don't need anybody" Bren said as he walked away. Bren walks into his room and sits on his bed and grabs an old picture of him as a kid and a woman "I promise to avenge you master" Bren says as he lays down and slowly falls asleep.

"Master wake up...WAKE UP!!!" Bren wakes up as he hears those words in his dream. "Dammit not this again" Bren says to himself and sighs as he looks at the clock "Time for work". Bren walks over to the request board and is confronted by a beautiful girl with light skin, green eyes and a bit of a revealing outfit. "Hey Bren how are you?!" Crystela says as Bren looks at her with a sigh and walks off "Whatever request you got I'm happy to go with you" Crystela explains "Did Earthus put you up to this?" Bren asks "Well you see yes...and no i've been wondering how you do things your way for a while now and Earthus isn't giving you a choice i'm going with you" Crystela explains. Bren sighs again as he gets a request from the board "Keep up" Bren says "You got it boss!" Crystela shouts.
