Vivienne shoved her hands into the pockets of her thick button down coat. She exhaled and her breath was visible in the night air. Autumn was turning to winter quickly. She walked slowly and carefully down a dirt path through the park. David, the scientist, hadn't really told her exactly where to meet him but she assumed he was somewhere in the park. She pulled a hand out to glance at the time on her phone. It was just after 9pm and deadly silent other than the wind howling through the tall tree branches above her, the large and bright moon peaking through the bare trees.

She had been walking for a few moments when she heard a snap of a twig. Vivienne stopped in her tracks and looked to where she thought the sound had come from. Every hair on the back of her neck was standing on edge now. "David...?" Vivienne called out. Something was wrong. Something inside of her was telling her she should run. Listening to her instinct, she turned on her heel to head back to the parking lot where she had come from when a voice called out to her.

"Ahh so this is the bitch causing all the commotion." It was a dark, male's voice that sounded so menacing, his words dripping with hatred. Vivienne's heart was now racing out of her chest as she swiveled around quickly once more. When she turned back around she saw a man standing, hands shoved in his pockets. He had very fair skin and short blonde hair that was combed over to one side. He looked young, but the bright red eyes told her he could be any age. She was scared now. Incredibly. He obviously wasn't here to make friends. "What do you want?" She asked quietly, voice quivering slightly which only made him smirk more. He was relishing in her fear and the sound of her thumping heartbeat.

"Tsk tsk, so rude... Don't I even get a hello first?" He took several steps to her and Vivienne instinctively stepped backwards, keeping her eyes on him. In her mind she was already trying to formulate a plan of some kind. Her hand in her pocket felt around for her keys so that she could slip them in-between her fingers like daggers. Not that car keys would have a large effect on a vampire but at least it might buy her some time while she turned and ran. She continued to step backward, eyes trained on him, as she prepared to run.

An irritated look washed over the vampire's face and in a blur of motion he appeared in front of her, hand reaching behind her head and yanking her hair backwards so her neck was exposed. Vivienne gasped as he did this, pain searing at the back of her scalp as he held her tightly. "Don't even think about running. You would never even make it two steps." He hissed. A scared expression fell on her face as tears began to pool in her eyes. She knew it to be true. She was trapped.

"Now. Be a good little girl and tell me where Piers has it." Confusion spread in her mind and she drew her brows together. "I.. I don't know what you're talking about. Has what?" Angry at this response, the vampire released her hair and backhanded her cheek with such force that she fell several feet away from him. She let out a small scream as she fell and her hand reached up to her face. It throbbed with pain. A small cut had formed with a few drops of blood beginning to drip down slowly. Vivienne's hand shook as she reached up and stared at the vampire. His eyes were full of anger now. "Tell me WHERE!" He shouted at her and tears began to fall down her face.

Vivienne shook her head, "I don't know what you're looking for, I don't know, I-" Before she could say anything else he grabbed her neck with his hand, lifting her up off the ground and slammed her back into a nearby tree. He squeezed harder and she gasped for air. "Do not. Play stupid!" Tears streamed down her face as her mind raced trying to figure a way out of this. Her hands had found her keys in her pocket. She knew it was stupid but she had to try. If she didn't she would die.

In a quick motion she threw her hand towards his face, keys in-between so she could dig them in his face. He was much too quick for her obviously and grabbed her wrist before it came near him. He squeezed her wrist until he heard bones cracking and Vivienne screamed out in pain. A furious smile crept over his face as he continued to squeeze, ready to separate the limb from her body.

"Let her go. Now." It was a low rumble and the world seemed to stop around them. She knew that voice. The vampire whipped around, pulling Vivienne in front of him, and forcing his arm over her chest to keep her arms pinned down. "Well good evening your majesty."
