23 Goodbyes are the hardest.

Anna looked at Rosa who wasn't surprised when she heard the news " Do you know about this? " Anna asked pointing at the headline on her phone screen.

" Yes. Leo told me about it last week " Rosa replied

" You told that he doesn't love her then why are they going to be engaged? " Anna felt that her head is going to explode. her friend never had feelings for any guy and when she did the situation was a complete mess.

" Because he has to. Eva father is like another father to him. and Leo can't refuse him. "

Anna scratched her head trying to absorb what she just heard. " Then what about you Rosa? " her friend asked feeling bad for her

Rosa laughed nervously as she looked at Anna " What about me. I'm fine. there was nothing between us to feel sad about it. " Rosa spoke trying to be strong " I'm leaving the house after the engagement. I have spoken to my parents about it my father said that I can go and live with my aunt. I think it's for best to stay away from here. "

Anna hugged her friend tightly trying to comfort her " Everything will be fine. we will get through this together. " Anna pulled back looking into her friend eyes as she spoke.

It was almost midnight when Rosa phone started to vibrate reaching for the phone she wore her glasses to see who is calling at such time when she saw the caller ID Rosa immediately answered.

" Leo. " he could tell that she was sleeping.

" Sorry for bothering you at this time. " she heard him say.

" No no, it's okay. but are you alright? " she asked worried as his voice sounded like he was sad.

" Opening the door. " Leo said.

Rosa was confused for a while before she got up and went to check from her window she found him standing in front of the door she quickly went to open the door for trying to be quiet as she can.

Going to her room she closed the door behind her. Rosa didn't know why but she felt very nervous it was unusual for Leo to visit her at this time.

Turning around she found Leo starting at her which it adds to her already nervous self. " Can I hug you. " Rosa heard him say. she stepped forward and wrapped her arms around him first and then she felt him wrap his arms around her too. they stayed like this for a while.

" Leo. are you alright? " she asked trying to pull away to look at him but he tightened his arms around her.

" You must already hear the news. " Leo spoke running his fingers through her hair.

" Yes," she replied not knowing what to say. she felt him pushing her backwards until her back touched the wall " Leo. " she felt scared when he did that.

" Don't attend the engagement party I don't want you to feel hurt. I'm sorry Rosa I failed you. " Rosa was shocked by his sudden words but she hadn't get the chance to think about his words when she felt his lips on her neck making her shiver

" Leo. " she tried to push him but he was stronger than her.

He placed a father like kisses on her neck before he made his way up towards her jawline. Rosa was shocked at first but she unconsciously relaxed when he warped his arms around her she didn't feel scared of him now she felt scared of the new feelings that she was feeling now

Leo made his way up kissing the corner of her mouth to her cheeks. Rosa felt it was hard to breathe every time his lips touched her skin. Leo was about to kiss her on the lips when he stopped an inches away from her slightly parted lips.

" I'm sorry Rosa. I shouldn't have done that. " he pulled away to look at her. her face was extremely red and her eyes were closed. " Rosa. are you alright?. I'm sorry I scared you. " Leo was worried when she didn't say anything. what he has done Rosa is still young. Leo was lost in his thoughts when he heard her voice.

" I... I'm fine. " her voice was lower than what she intended it to be. she was still in shock Leo has just kissed her and he was about to kiss her lips. what Rosa needed right now is a very cold shower to wake her up.

" Are you scared from me? " he asked patting her head gently.

When Leo saw her smile he felt his body relaxed " No. it was just that ... " she didn't know how to explain what just happened.

" it will never happen again unless if you want to but that has to be when you are older," he said.

Rosa hit him on the chest. what an embarrassing words to say Rosa thought.

" I have to go now. " he spoke kissing her forehead " Good night. Rosa. "

Rosa smiled at him she knew that this is the last time that she is going to see him. " good night Leo. "
