1 The Discovery

I sat outside waiting for my dad . he usually comes home early but he is late today. on seeing him from afar, I ran to hug him. just as I was about to jump on him, he shoved me away revealing the gun shot wound on his arm.

I never knew the kind of job my father was involved in . what do I do?

I was in my room still thinking on what I saw. suddenly, the door opened catching my attention.

" rose? '

" mum, why me? I have never knew what type of shady business dad....'

" rose, do not mention it to anyone."

I stared at her in disbelief. she actually knew it aall long and pretended as if nothing was wrong. imagine living with the fact that your dad is an armed robbet terrorizing innocent people out there. I've been living my whole life in lies.

" mum, I can't pretend nothing is wrong'

" when you were spending money any time you wanted, you didn't think then "

I protested angrily
