Mikey's P.O.V.

Waking up I blush deeply when I open my eyes to see Theo asleep next to me. His arms wrapped gently yet securely around my waist. Which sends sparks throughout my body. Reminding me that everything that has happen these past two days were real. Smiling as I remember all the good that has happened here being more then I have had in my whole life. Glancing at Theo's face I notice a faint stubble on his face. Reaching out to touch it I stop only an inch from his chin. As I hesitate as my doubts and worries fill my head. Taking a couple deep breaths, I mentally shake away the negative thoughts.

Closing the distance, I gently touch the prickly hair on Theo's face. As I run my hand along the incoming beard, I let out a yelp in surprise. As out of nowhere Theo's hand suddenly engulfs mine. Turning his face into my hand I can feel him smile against my palm. Before he suddenly kisses my palm causing sparks to run throughout my whole body. "Good morning my beloved kitten."

My face turns beet red right away not only from the nickname. but because of his voice as well. Which is deeper and gruffer then normal as his words are slightly slurred as they are still laced with sleep. I look up expecting to find his eyes open only to find that they are still closed. "Did you sleep well kitten?"

In a shy timid voice, I answer him. "I-I di-did."

His smile grows as he lets go of my hand and pulls me against him. Kissing the top of my head before he nuzzles his face into my face. As he lets out a slight rumble. Which makes Chase melt as he starts purring like a kit. I can't help, but giggle while I try to wiggle away. As Theo has moved his face into my neck causing his beard to tickle me every time, he nuzzles me. My reaction causes him to pause I am about to tell him that he didn't do anything wrong. When all of a sudden, he starts to purposely tickle me with his beard causing me to become a giggling mess. "Let's see where else you are ticklish kitten."

Letting out a squeak I quickly try to hide my sides from him. Though he easily grabs me by the wrists with one hand and pins them above my head. As he starts to tickle my sides with his free hand. My giggling vanishing as I burst into a fit of laughter while I try to protect my sides from him. Eventually I end up caving against his attack and beg for mercy. Theo being the kind, sweet, loving soul that he is he stops. Panting softly, I blush deeply when I realize the position that we are in.

My wrists still being pinned above my head by Theo. As he is shirtless and practically straddles my left leg as his perfect emerald forest green eyes somehow meet with mine. Though even though his eyes are sightless they seem to be looking deep within me. As it is as if he is looking at me soul. It sends shivers down my back though I can't complain as I oddly enough enjoy the feeling. Giving me his usual soft smile Theo leans in kissing the top of my head. "Are you alright love? Your heart is racing."

Smiling at his concern I lift my head up slightly to meet my lip to his. Quickly he kisses me back leaning in closer, so that my head can rest back on the pillow. Chase mewing like a happy yet needy little kit as we both enjoy the attention we are receiving from our mate. He lets go of my wrists propping himself up, so that he can support his weight with his arm. His lips never leaving mine not even for a second as his other gently cups my cheek. Feeling a bit on the bold side I decide the deepen the already intoxicating kiss as I pull Theo closer to me.

It causes him to let out pleased and happy rumble leave his throat. Which is when he suddenly nips at my bottom lip causing me to let out a gasp in surprise when he does. As soon as my lips part Theo slips his tongue into my mouth. I yelp in surprise, but automatically relax as I am surprised by how much I am enjoying it. Because whenever King Raphael would force his tongue into my mouth. It having felt cold and slimy like someone had put a live worm in my mouth the feeling having made me want to puke. Though with Theo it didn't feel like that instead all I felt was pleasure making purrs leak out of me.

Eventually he pulls away making me whimper at the loss of contact. He chuckles at my reaction kissing my nose. "You are perfect my love."

Blushing I let out a groan as he suddenly starts kissing down my neck causing small mews to leave me. When all of a sudden, the door to our bedroom bursts open. "Theo! Mikey!"

Theo growls quickly covering me up with a blanket even though I am fully dressed. It makes Chase giggle at Theo's reaction. 'They are, so territorial and overprotective. It is adorable.'

Giggling I bury my face into his chest hiding my beet red face. "Katie! What have I told you about knocking before barging in?!"

"I know. I know, but you weren't answering the pride link. Didn't mean to interrupt your alone time with Mikey."

I glance at Katie to see her wink at me which causes my blush to grow darker. Theo lets out a grumble pulling me closer to him. "What is it then Katie?"

"Doc wants to see the both of you. Mainly Mikey though. She wants to see how he is doing and talk about his treatment plan now that she has his results."

Groaning Theo nods sitting up as he does. " Alright we will head down there in a few minutes."

"Alright I'll get going then."

Katie snickering as she glances at that while she closes the door behind her. Getting out of the covers I crawl over to Theo and climb into his lap hugging him softly. His arms automatically wrapping around me as he covers my face in kisses. When he stops, I look at him to see him smiling down at me. "Come on sweetie lets go see the doctor."

"We can't! Not yet!"

I see the confusion spread across his face along with a frown. "Why not?"

Knowing that my face is bright red I look away out of habit and out of embarrassment. "Well because you aren't wearing a shirt or pants."

When I say this his smile quickly returns as he chuckles. "Alright let me go put some clothes on."

Planting a quick peck on my lips he sets me on the bed. Before he gets up and heads over to the dresser. Deciding I should get dressed as well in proper clothes I head to the closet, "Getting changed love?"

Glancing at Theo to see him grabbing some clothes I smile. "Yes, I am, so don't step into the closet."

Quickly stepping into the closet, I close the door behind me. As I hear Theo's deep laugh through the door it making Chase let out a purred meow. Rolling my eyes, I giggle as look for something to wear before getting dressed. Once I am change, I come out of the closet with my hand over my eyes. Peaking between my fingers I find Theo sitting in a chair with a book in his hand. The fingers of his left hand slowly skimming over the page as I walk over to see how he can read the book. Though before I can he closes the book as soon as he senses me. Giving me his usual large warm smile, he puts down the book and stands. "Ready?"

"Yep."

His smile grows when he hears the pop in the p. "Okay let's go then."

Offering me his hand I grin as I gladly take it. Enjoying the warmth and the sparks that come with the contact. As we walk to the infirmary, I can't help but look at Theo's nose. As every time I glance at him, I notice his nose twitch ever, so often. Theo sniffing the air as he tries to tell where he is going. "Theo?"

"Yes, my love?"

"I know where the infirmary is. I can lead you there if you would like."

A massive grin spreads across his face as he leans down to kiss my lips. "I would like that very much."

Grinning happily, I lead Theo to the infirmary to find the pride doctor. Happy that I can make the walk there easier for mate when we get there, we end up not having to go find the pride doctor as she quickly finds us. Greeting us she smiles at me just as warmly as she greeted us. "Theo Mikey I am glad to see that Katie found you two for me."

Theo lets out a grumble as he recalls making my face become flushed red with embarrassment as I also recall how she found us. The pride doctor reads us both like an open book as she seems to know that Katie found us at a bad time. "Oh, I see. Well, my deepest apologizes for interrupting your alone you two. But since the results came in today, I wanted to talk to you both about his treatment. Lucky it isn't a very serious treatment though I also wanted to see how he has improved even though it has only been a couple days. But he is with him mate, so he should be healing faster than normal. Just by looking at you Mikey I am glad to see that I was right."

I blush slightly as I hold onto Theo shyly as I talk to Chase. 'Have I really changed that much since when I had been brought here?'

'Obviously we are finally being taken care off. We are finally eating properly and able to take a warm bath as well as clean new clothes. Not to mention that we finally have a proper roof over our head and a warm bed that we get to share with our sexy mate.'

My blush grows as I practically cling onto Theo arm. 'Chase don't say it like that.'

He giggles at me as the pride doctor leads us to her office, so that we can talk in a more private setting. The pride doctor takes a seat behind her desk while Theo sits in one of the two empty seats. I sit in the other empty chair only for Theo to automatically take my hand as soon as I sit down. Smiling I gently stroke the back of his hand with my thumb sensing the worry coming from him. The pride doctor opens one of the drawers taking a yellow folder out of it before closing the drawer again. Placing it on her desk she opens it up looking at what looks like an x-ray. "Well first I would like to discuss your x-rays. In them I noticed a lot of old and some slightly improperly mended bones from several breaks. I am amazed that they aren't causing you any issues."

Theo lets out an angry growl at this as I look down at the ground as a slight whimper leaves me. As it startles me slightly as for a second, I thought I was back with King Raphael. Theo stops as soon as he hears me whimper his head turning towards me. "Mikey are you alright?"

I feel Theo give my hand a gentle squeeze causing me to look up as I hear the worry in his voice. "It's nothing just bad memories. I'm alright I promise."

His face still filled with worry as he faces my general direction. "Are you sure you are alright?"

Kissing his hand, I let out a soothing rumble to try and calm his nerves. "Yes, I am sure."

Clearing her throat, the pride doctor gains both our attention. "Theo, I know hearing about these things that were done to your mate makes it hard for you to keep your cool. Though I advise you do for his sake or Mikey, and I will be having this conversation without you."

I look at her surprised at her as I have never heard anyone ever speak to a king with so much authority. As she looks at Theo sternly her voice having left no room for Theo to argue. Sighing softly, he turns his head to face me his worry now replaced with one of guilt. "You are right Heather. I am sorry Mikey I didn't mean to scare you kitten."

"Don't apologize you didn't do anything wrong I overreacted."

Taking my hand, he kisses my palm in an apologetic manner. It is causing me to smile slightly at how much he is valuing me. "Anyway, as I was saying. I plan on starting you on calcium it will help th breaks heal faster and strengthen your bones."

Flipping through a couple pages she reads them for a bit before looking back up at us mainly at me though. "Now my main concern is how underweight you are. Though I am happy to notice that even though it is barely noticeable you have put on some weight. But just to be safe I made a list of foods that you should eat or at least incorporate into your meals. That way you can get up to a healthy weight."

Pulling out two pieces of paper she holds them out for me to take. Taking them, I frown at one of the papers as instead of words it has raised bumps on it. The pride doctor Heather chuckles as she notices the confused look on my face. "It is braille it's how Theo can read without using Kyle's eyes."

"Oh ok."

Giving me a soft smile, she then looks back down at the folder. "I will also have you taking some vitamins just to help strengthen your immune system and your body. Other than that, you are surprisingly healthy."

My eyes snap up to her in surprise, but as soon as my eyes meet her graze, I decide to stay silent. As the look she is giving me is telling me not yet. "Theo why don't you go to the pharmacy and pick up Mikey's medication. I believe your medication also has to be refilled as well."

Theo opens his mouth to argue, but he quickly closes his mouth. "Alright fine."

Theo stands before facing me leaning down he kisses me on the lips. "The pharmacy isn't fair just a couple halls down, so I will be back in a few minutes."

Smiling I kiss him back. "Take your time I am not going anywhere."

His smile grows as he steals on last kiss before he leaves Doctor Heather's office. I wait a few minutes after he leaves to make sure that he is gone before I look at Doctor Heather. "Why didn't you tell him about the..."

I fall silent unable to say the words as they are too painful as they bring up the worst memories I have of my old pride. "You mean the signs of repeated sexual assault?"
