69 What happened?!

"I wasn't expecting to see you for another two—" Master Shen stopped himself as he looked up from his book and saw Li Jun approaching. A dark shadow seemed to have wrapped its way around the boy's body. 

Master Shen rubbed his eyes in shock. For a moment, it looked as if the dark aura surrounding Li Jun had a face that stared at him briefly. But as he looked back, all that remained was a dark shadow. 

"What happened?!" Master Shen asked and quickly rushed to his feet. Once a cultivator reached the core refining stage, they could visualize other people's emotions, of course, that only worked on people with a weaker cultivation than themselves. 

He was used to seeing dark auras enshroud people at times. It was normal to be angry about things, although he had never seen such uncontrollable rage before. It seemed as if the shadow would grow wings and take flight at any moment.
