Sparing a glance at Edith's retreating figure, Selena took a deep breath, trying to compose herself. Her voice carried slight exasperation as she said, "It is not what it looks like."

"It is what it looks like though. Why are you denying it now," whispered King Liam.

She suddenly behaved out of character, pinching his waist. Her actions were so natural that she didn't realise what she had done. King Liam however was taken aback. He had noticed that ever since they signed the agreement she had been coming out of her shell and showing more of her true nature. He really liked it.

Edith who had turned around just now saw this and her eyes widened. She had witnessed Her Majesty pinch the king. This overturned her world view especially when she realised the king let Selena do it.
