The luxurious carriage rattled along the cobbled streets, its plush interior lavish but the atmosphere within was heavy with tension, mirroring the turmoil that plagued Selena's heart. She wanted to ask how she could help but a sudden thought crossed her mind. Did King Liam know she was a curse and wouldn't be any good to him?

"How can I... I. How can I help you when I am cursed?" she stammered, laying all her cards on the table.

King Liam rubbed her bottom lip gently worried that she had hurt herself when she bit hard. After a short while he murmured softly, his gaze fixed on Selena. "Cayaline flower or not, you are the only one that can calm me down... You are my cure Lena... not your sister or that other woman. All I need is you... Will you help me?"

Selena's eyes shimmered with a kaleidoscope of emotions. She didn't think his calming down in her presence was because of her but because she looked like Sienna minus the silver hair.
