62 'cute'

Satisfied he pulled her towards the dining table and gestured for her to sit. He watched her with rapt attention as she lowered herself onto the cushioned seat, her eyes downcast and her cheeks flushed. One word came to mind and that was the word 'cute'.

His gaze was intense and Selena felt her heart flutter. She averted her gaze, her fingers fidgeting with the hem of her dress.

"Are you hungry?" he asked, his eyes fixed on her. Selena was so embarrassed by the incident earlier that she wanted to run away that she shook her head no.

"I am not hungry," she said but her stomach betrayed her. After her nose smelt the delicious fragrance of roast her stomach couldn't help but protest. King Liam stared at her his gaze filled with amusement.

"Well, your stomach says otherwise," he replied, his voice laced with mirth. Selena flushed, her cheeks tinged with embarrassment. She wished she could bury her head in the sand like an ostrich.
