Hypocrisy

The whites took their land and that seemed not to be enough.They started up plantations and made the blacks to work on them. They made them work all day long with little payment. They were like slaves in there own land. "We're working like slaves," the blacks complained, "they're killing us. We're not going to tolerate this." So they planned to rebel against the white rulers. As they were rebelling, something else happened. It was a war between the whites and the other whites and it was a battle for colonies. The whites began to panic, "What are we going to do?" they questioned themselves. They were in shortage of soldiers, weapons and funds yet the enemy seemed to have it all. So they went to the blacks and begged that they help them in the war. "We promise to give you back your land in return if you help us win this war." the whites told the blacks. The blacks were convinced. So they gathered all they could and set off to fight in the war. The war was intense and it took many lives including the ones of the blacks but though it was so, in the end of it all they helped the whites win. Mukisa and the others came back wounded and tired. On the next day, Mukisa and the others went to demand their land but to their surprise, the whites just arrested them and made them work even more than they used to in the beginning. This time, they used to work day and night with little food and no payment. This made Mukisa and the others realize that they were lied and they fought for nothing in the war.
