Chapter 1: Mukisa in Paradise

Far away, in a great land blessed by God and mother nature, so green and fertile, a land you could describe as a land flowing with milk and honey. There lived a man called Kimbugwe he grew up as farmer in the land. In the time the land was so fruitful and the people had plenty but 77 miles away from Ganda, the land, there was another land which had been struck by a drought. There was no food many people from this land where coming to Ganda to gain refuge. In the people that came there was a girl called Nagawa, a girl that was said to be the most beautiful at that time many men desired her but she didn't mind about any men not until she met Kimbugwe. They fell in love and even though there was too much opposition, Kimbugwe married Nagawa and later Nagawa conceived and gave birth to a baby boy that they named Mukisa which means blessings. Mukisa grew to become a handsome boy and he became a farmer to replace his dad. Mukisa looked at the great land full of animals and birds that produce wonderful sounds and saw that all was beautiful and good. But it all ended when the White man came.....
