Chapter 82: A Mischievous Game

 "Mr. Elias, this is our manor's kitchen."

"Ah, thank you."

Elias followed Susan, the head kitchen maid, to the ground floor kitchen. 

The kitchen was enormous, with the aroma of smoked ingredients filling the air.

Olivia hadn't come down; her aversion to messes meant she probably wouldn't step foot in the kitchen. 

The only one accompanying her was Caroline, her trusted aide. 

Of course, several kitchen maids and chefs were also present, observing curiously.

Elias pretended to look around casually, quickly scanning the room. 

There were too many people around – not the ideal setting for what he had in mind.

"Um... let's start by checking out the manor's ingredients," he said offhandedly.

"Right away," Susan replied immediately.

She followed Elias, curiously eyeing the young gentleman. 

Since his arrival at the manor, though it hadn't been long, the changes he brought were remarkable.
