She had been living in a secluded country manor, and initially, he had no idea of her noble status.

They had been drawn together by a minor case involving mass livestock deaths and had become acquainted after dealing with the malevolent creature responsible. 

Later, Olivia became the second 'guest' he sheltered after Luna, though their relationship lacked the combativeness he had with Luna. 

Olivia was invited rather than captured, more like a second tenant than a detainee.

However, Luna disliked her, perhaps because of her status, appearance, or personality.
