When Elias aimed his gun at himself in rage and determination, the little girl's laughter grew even brighter.

"At first, with your cool and collected demeanor, and not even flinching when you saw me, I thought you weren't scared of anything!"

She had an expression of sudden realization, as if she'd found Elias's Achilles' heel.

As Elias grew angrier, she quickly said with a giggle, "Hehe, don't be mad! I was just joking~"

Elias stared at her in shock, then quickly looked down at Olivia in his arms.

Her complexion was rosy, her breath steady. She was sleeping peacefully, nothing like a lifeless corpse.

"Are you messing with me?" Elias lowered his gun, shooting an annoyed glance at Nyarlathotep.

Nyarlathotep grinned at him, "I would have liked to, but unfortunately, my true form isn't here, you know~"
