Okay, that was a lie, it's more eventful than yesterday, first, his P.E. teacher was constantly reminding him to join the track, saving that he'd be the star of the team.

While it might be true due to his new physical capabilities, he doesn't want to, because it would only get him in trouble, once he'd be at a certain point.

Popularity, that's what he meant, that's the trouble he was talking about, in the past he wanted to be famous or at least we'll be known in their community.

But it's in the past, that dream of his is nothing but a remnant of the past, after realizing how painful it is to be famous, he'd seen it in the news, people hated you because of what you've achieved, the money and fame.

While some others love you, the majority are jealous of you and want nothing but to see your downfall.

Which is why, no thanks, popularity is a double-edged sword that he would never try to touch if he can help it.

Hito snapped out of his musing as Shizuka-sensei gathered their attention.

"Alright class, listen, this is a bit important. I'd like you all to choose who's going to be the representative of the class."

Oh.. yeah that.

He almost had forgotten about it, he thought that they already picked someone to be the president and vice president of the class.

But they haven't yet, well not his problem. He wasn't interested in being the class president, having that position does nothing good.

While he didn't really care about being the class representative, his classmates did, well mostly.

Saki wasn't interested like him, he's glad that he wasn't alone in this one, she looked bored and was looking out the window.

Then her gaze shifts toward him, her eyes widened for a bit then looks away, embarrassed to be seen looking at the window.

Heh...

There's nothing to be embarrassed about, after all, he couldn't count how many times he did that in the past.

"That's right, now who do you nominate for the class president!" Shizuka-sensei said.

Several hands were raised.

After a while names were written on the board.

Komi Shoko

Oi..oi.?! Who nominated him?!

He didn't pay attention because he was sure that he wasn't going to be nominated, but it seemed that he was wrong about that.

Then the voting started, and the result was both unexpected and expected.

What..?! How did he get 5 votes!

His eyes wandered around the class and saw 4 out of 5 people who voted for him.

He doesn't know who is the last one, but he could understand Komi and Nishimiya voting for him because they were his friends plus they were both kind souls who believe in him.

As for Saki, he was sure she voted for him because he caught her looking at the window, making her embarrassed.

This was her revenge.

However, as for Najimi, he couldn't understand that creature, better left unsaid.

So Ebina was chosen as the class president, to others it might look natural but no, it's not.

They voted for her because she had GLASSES!

Just because someone had glasses it doesn't mean they're smart!

Either way, Ebina doesn't seem to mind having the role, good for her.

Now it's time to vote for the vice president, after some time, every possible position for the class has been selected.

Peace Officer - Nishimiya Shouko

There wasn't anything wrong with the arrangement of the classroom position, however, Nishimiya was the Peace Officer.

Yep they are, the Peace Officer maintains the silence of the class and they made it literal.

The muse and escort don't really surprise him, both Komi and Hayama have this charm like no other.

In short, they are popular due to their looks.

After the class vote, it was lunch time but this time he had to go to the cafeteria to get lunch.

Hitomi couldn't make bento for him, because of the lack of ingredients he'll have to get more after school.

Right now, he'll buy lunch in the cafeteria, maybe this is a good thing because he'll know what type of food the cafeteria offers.

While on his way to the cafeteria, he saw two girls next to his class, now while it wasn't anything special, one of the girls was acting weird.

As she was looking above her friend's head with a very stoic look, from an outside perspective there's nothing wrong with it, but inside was an entirely different matter.

He could feel the girl's fear, nervousness, and desperation.

Hito couldn't understand why she was feeling like that, but there's no way this girl would feel fear and nervousness without a reason.

Something must've been happening, something that he couldn't see-

Oh…oh..!

At that moment he realized the problem, the girl was seeing something that a normal person wasn't supposed to see, a ghost!

If this was before he received his abilities, he wouldn't have thought of it, but being exposed to the supernatural was an eye-opener.

If another reality existed why can't ghosts too?

A very simple logic with no argument.

Compared to the existence of another reality, ghosts and curses weren't anything shocking at all.

He never had a chance to use this new ability that he got from the 'dreamscape' now is a perfect time.

After buying the Mystic Eyes Of Third, he got some information on how to use them, so he activated them easily.

His eyes glowed with unnatural light, anyone wouldn't be able to tell the difference as long as they don't have a supernatural ability to see things that weren't supposed to be seen.

And just like that, he saw what the girl was staring at. It was cursed like being with a long neck, deformed face, and weird body.

Yes, he's the first to admit that it's scary, no wonder this girl is terrified because she sees things like this.

The ghost seems to be attracted to her orange-haired friend, as the cursed creature was literally bathing in her presence.

She was glowing, like literally it's like she is going full super saiyan, honestly, it looks amazing.

But too bad though, it doesn't seem to do anything other than attract these cursed ghost-like creatures.

Suddenly he felt sorry for the black hair girl. If she's always with this orange-haired girl, then she's bound to see things like that every time they hang out.

As he continues to observe, the black hair girl seems to act like she didn't see the cursed creature; she acts normal but with a stoic look.

This girl is brave, if she experiences this every day then, his admiration toward the girl only increases, he doesn't know what to feel if he sees these creatures every day and is powerless to stop them.

At least he could turn his ability to see this cursed creature, but unlike the girl could do the same.

While he was focused on looking at the black hair girl, he didn't realize that the cursed creature was now looking at him directly.

He noticed it, and the cursed creature noticed him.

Both of them were now staring at each other.

"Ah." He let out a sound.

With a distorted voice, it spoke. "You… can see.. me…!"

As soon as he realized he could see it, the cursed creature sprinted at him with a speed that wasn't possible for a normal human.

But then again, this cursed creature isn't human at all.

He heard the black hair girl gasp at him. She probably felt scared for him, which isn't needed because he wasn't 'normal' at all.

Hito raised his hand before the cursed creature could arrive and thought. 'Since this creature is supernatural this should work right.. ?'

He hoped it did, or else he's fucked.

Hito added a small amount of prana on his fingers, reinforcing them and as the cursed creature arrived at his range, he flicked the cursed creature's face, and almost immediately it disappeared from existence.

After seeing his tricked work, he sighs in relief and thinks. 'Thank god it worked.'

Then noticed that the black-haired girl was now looking at her with a shocked expression, not believing what she just witnessed.

Her friend saw her expression, she was confused at her reaction, then she traced her gaze and saw her looking at him.

Then the orange girl gasps.

Hito thought. 'Wha- don't tell me she could see it too?'

"Miko fell in love at first sight?!"

Oh never mind.
