1 The Promise Between You And Me

"Promises are made to be kept".

She said while standing in the heavily pouring rain, holding an umbrella in one hand and a muffin with a lightened candle in the other.

she kept gazing at the slowly melting candle with a pure smile on her angelic face. An encounter with the man she frequently saw in her dreams was all she wished for.

Behind an oak tree in the same spot, stood a handsome man in an expensive, completely wet suit.

Unaware of his soaked clothes, nor of the hurricane, he stared at the familiar woman in front of him.

When she smiled, he unconsciously smiled in return. His heart was filled with a sudden overdosed shot of happiness, which instantly turned into grief the moment reality hit him harder than the extremely cold breeze.

He sighed then looked at the dark sky in a poor attempt to overcome the situation, closing his eyes to avoid the bitter reality.

However, tears poured from his hazel sharp eyes, along with the raindrops, and some precious long lost memories...
