Ha,ha,ha Carl Which was leaning up against the chair was finding it difficult to calm his palpitating heart after experiencing the overwhelming Magical power Elijah released.
"It has been such a long time since i have experienced something like this", Carl Muttered.
On his side Hina was thinking something similar but instead of feeling overwhelmed and frightened. She was trying her hardest to calculate the profits gained in the future. Lyssa after gaining back her stability looked upon Elijah with new found respects in her eyes. At first she was thinking the man who summoned her was nothing short of hot air. Considering there first interaction, Lyssa felt like she could easily overpower Elijah. But because of the presence of her sister Even though she was in a enraged state, She still managed to hold back a great deal of her strength. But now even though it has only been a night, The confidence she was having was slowly being eroded away.
Bast which was standing next to Lyssa was having her own internal Monologue. When she first Met Elijah, She felt sympathy for him, and for some strange reason felt a need to protect her master who just summoned her. Even though the bond between them was large due to the magic in place. She still felt like his strength was lacking a great deal compared to her own. Before she knew the full circumstances involving Elijah's powers. She was under the illusion that it would take him a great deal of time before he gained sufficient strength necessary in order to protect himself fully. But now she was convinced and afraid that now that her master was able to improve so rapidly, the usefulness of her abilities would be insufficient. So with that thought in mind Bast made a vow to get stronger in order to keep up With the first man to summon her.
As for the final person inside the room Lilith. She on the hand was desperately trying to figure out a way to convince Elijah too help her. After feeling the absurd magical power he released, Lilith was afraid that her matters would be inconsequential, and was concerned that Elijah would Ignore her wishes. "Wait why am i thinking that way"? "Didn't he agree to listen too what i have to say"? "If he truly wasn't planning on helping me, then he could have easily ignored me when we first met at the gate". "All i can do is hope he will continue extending his kindness towards me". Normally Lilith wouldn't have requested such a thing to a random person like Elijah. Because if it was anybody else threatening her, She could just eliminate them in an instant. She wasn't given the Demonic Princess title for nothing. Back in the day when she was active in the world. She was able to raise herself up into a high profile position within the kingdom. But.. Bilimath was a separate issue. She felt like the probability of winning in a frontal battle with bilimath would result in complete annihilation. And because of that fear and hesitation she locked herself up in her castle. Lilith fear and anxiety were reaching the boiling point Resulting in her taking the desperate measure of asking Elijah for help. Thinking to that point Lilith looked to Elijah ready to open up everything to him holding nothing back.
"So, Now that i have demonstrated my abilities Can we continue the conversation" Elijah asked.
Shaking her head Hina reached into her pocket pulling out a handbook.
"This is the book i promised you yesterday Elijah". Inside will give you a detailed account on all of the valuable materials on the monsters, and beasts that should be kept in the best condition".
"Anything outside of this book can be disregarded, because their value is low".
Grabbing the book Elijah gave a few words to Carl before heading back towards the guild hall. After getting the sizable 25 gold coins from the monsters the 4 left the guild towards The tamers guild.
" What exactly do we need to do at the tamers guild"? Lyssa asked. With a grin Elijah explained the process of what happened yesterday with Bast.
" No No, Hell no! I am not getting a stamp on my leg like you brand a damn cow"! Lyssa protested.
"Woo Don't be like that lyssa, This is just for safety sake" I don't want any problems arising when you are in you're panther form.
If i take you to a nice restaurant after this and treat you to what ever you want could you please just go along with it? Turning her head, "Fine But i get to order what ever the hell i want at the restaurant regardless of what it is! got it"? Pointing her finger at Elijah all he could do is helplessly agree to the proposal.
After the bit a banter between the 2 the group arrived quickly at the tamers guild. Opening the door the familiar sight could be seen again with Dillan hunched over the counter sleeping soundly as if it was completely normal.
"Rise and shine Sunshine"! Lightly kicking the desk Dillan quickly woke up.
"Wh.. What the fuck"! OH Elijah it's you.
Wait why do i see 2 other figures next to you?
Adjusting his glasses Dillan couldn't help but be amazed by the sight in front of him. Elijah only yesterday had 1 woman following him But yet not even 24 hours passed by, and he was already being followed by 2 more beauties.
"Damn what kind of Godly luck does this guy have Dillan thought".
So let me guess you summoned the other divine beast and you want to Mark her?
" How did you know Elijah said saying so in a playful tone".
So who is the other divine beast? Looking to the 2 people besides Elijah Dillan looked at the 2 up and down in a lude way before lyssa cut in.
"Hey 4 eyes my name is not divine beast, its fucking Lyssa, getting close in his face."
I saw you looking me up and down as if i was a peace of meat. Should i use my claws to remove that little thing in between you're legs?
Saying so lyssa raised a hands before extending her nails into long vertical claws.
Gulping down hard Dillan was sweating buckets before getting down on his knees.
"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to look at you in that way! Please forgive me". "Hmphed, That's right people like you look better when in a position like that. As long as you know you're place i can forgive you" But I'm already getting tired of being in this dirty place. So hurry the fuck up and do what ever you need to do!
"W.. Yes.. Of course." Hurriedly rising and running towards the table Dillan grabs the stamp he used yesterday and quickly stamped the right thigh of Lyssa.
Right afterword's lyssa left the building without saying a word. Looking over to Dillan Elijah couldn't help but give him a smile expressing his apologies before turning around ready to leave.
"Wait Elijah i wanted to ask you something". "hmm"? What is it Dillan?
"Well you see, In about a week from now all of the other tamers are coming together in order to go out on a monster subjugation mission". We normally all get together every once in a while since tamers are rare in the city. But this time is special because it will be the first time Everyone will be present.
It's been a few months since everyone got a chance to all attend since some people were out doing other things at the time. And since you are a new tamer i wanted to invite you to join us.
"HMM, It doesn't sound like a bad idea, How long will the subjugation take"? Elijah asked curiously.
"Probably 3 days in total, The trip will be around 1 day, and we will meet here around noon so make sure to prepare everything you need before hand".
"Sure i don't mind attending, I'll meet you back here at that time. But for now have a good rest of you're day Dillan". Waving his hand Elijah leaves the tamer's guild.
Walking outside he noticed the 3 standing in a group together. Walking over to them Lyssa stands out and hurriedly gets up into Elijah's face. Well you could say that but since Lyssa was the shortest in the group Elijah still had to look down to her.
" Yes Lyssa"? You! Grabbing his collar and yanking him down to her level. " That guy pissed me off, and since i have nobody else to release my anger towards i want some money".
"Money'? "Yes money, What the hell!, Are you dense? Me and my sister are going to walk around for a bit so i can cool down before we head to the restaurant, So give me some money so we can go and buy some things". Feeling her icy glare Elijah pulls out a couple of gold coins before handing it to Lyssa. "Just make sure not to get into any trouble ok"? "Yeah, Whatever, And with that Lyssa walked back over to bast, and Lilith before the trio walked off in a random direction".
"Well shit, What do i do for the time being? I guess i could find a sword at a blacksmith Or maybe even some armor. I haven't had the opportunity to check things out around the city, So now should be a good time considering i have some money available". Thinking to that point Elijah started to haphazardly walk around the interior of the Market area casually looking into the windows of the shops.
"Sigh, I'm surprised how much fun i can have looking around the city like this. Now that I'm alone i can actually explore to my hearts content"! This fire of curiosity in Elijah's heart was being ignited as if Elijah was a farmer visiting a city for the first time. After walking around for a bit Elijah was about to pass an ali before hearing a strange sound. It was the faint sound of a hammer being hit on a sword but for a strange reason it felt like it was drawing him towards it. Slowly walking down the deserted ali Elijah came too a small 1 story building with a sign of a sword slicing the head off a dragon. Looking at it Elijah noticed how old and dilapidated the building was before he slowly Knocked on the door. Hearing no response Elijah knocked again. After some time and hearing no response again Elijah decided to take the chance and open the door. Yelling out,
"Hello? Is anybody there"? Waiting a bit of time, a man of dark complexion roughly 6 and a half feet in height wearing blacksmithing gear appeared out of the back.
"Oh, It's a customer, That's surprising i wasn't expecting someone to show up today". Reaching out his hand the man introduced himself as Max. Taking his hand, " Names Elijah". But what Elijah didn't know at that moment was that from that day onward this interaction would be the defining moment that would determine the fate of not only his life. But the life of the entire Kingdom as a whole. End of chapter 12, I know it's a bit short but i really struggled today making this video. Still working on turning these chapters into proper works, and i still have difficulties writing proper sentences, and adding the correct punctuation where it's needed. So please give me advice so i can improve and turn this into a proper story. Love you all Anime light novels.
