The Birth of a Demon Lord

Labels affect people's lives in any world. As it turns out, being a demon brings a bunch of dangers. After his reincarnation the idea of being a demon didn't really bother Azemo, instead the reality of magic and fantasy occupied his thoughts. Gaining more power or a new technique was more important than learning about the war between demons, humans and beasts. Also he was reborn with modern day villains so being a demon was the least of his worries. At first it was like he was back at school, a school filled with violence and death but he was still learning stuff. However Azemo would be forced to learn about the gravity of being a demon when he ventured from the demon stronghold. Azemo did not have any grand goals or ideas but the world has a way of forcing troubles and tribulations upon beings.

The Marathon Begins

Azemo would have loved to follow that voice, but the statues were a more pressing issue as they took their spears off of their backs.

"Hah, you think you can use spears against me?" Kaede's voice grew dark and her small body morphed into the beautiful yet terrifying form of the Spear Goddess.

After she finished transforming the spears quivered in the statues' hands and they shattered into a million pieces.

The statues were not perturbed by Kaede's insane aura and they each simply drew a stone khopesh.

Kaede grinned darkly as she cracked her neck, the statues were going to be a good warm up for the boss.

Azemo watched from the sidelines and it felt as if he was watching two rocks trying to withstand the might of the entire ocean. Slapping himself, Azemo focused up and tried to think what he could do to help his master.

His weapons were mostly used for targeting soft spots, but since the enemies were statues, he did not think that had any.
