The Birth of a Demon Lord

Labels affect people's lives in any world. As it turns out, being a demon brings a bunch of dangers. After his reincarnation the idea of being a demon didn't really bother Azemo, instead the reality of magic and fantasy occupied his thoughts. Gaining more power or a new technique was more important than learning about the war between demons, humans and beasts. Also he was reborn with modern day villains so being a demon was the least of his worries. At first it was like he was back at school, a school filled with violence and death but he was still learning stuff. However Azemo would be forced to learn about the gravity of being a demon when he ventured from the demon stronghold. Azemo did not have any grand goals or ideas but the world has a way of forcing troubles and tribulations upon beings.

Behind the hidden door, there was a grungy, dimly lit, tunnel. Azemo had been in much more dirty places and he did not hesitate to enter the passageway. He would have been surprised if he knew how good of a defense against nobles that one tunnel was. Most would not even step a foot in it after they saw the state of the path.

The tunnel was narrow and there was only a single path so it was not very difficult to follow. After a turn in the tunnel, Azemo laughed as he saw that the tunnel was much cleaner and well lit. Apparently whoever used the passageway could only handle so much dirt.

After a couple more minutes of walking, Azemo finally saw a door in the distance and straightened up, it was time to go full Zaellis.

"Excuse me you can't… be here…"

A human stepped out from the shadows and quickly wilted away with one glance from Zaellis.

Azemo kept walking and it took quite a bit of effort to keep himself from chuckling when another human moved to block his path.
