| Invitation To Academy

Elyse found herself under the starry night sky as the sound of ocean waves crashing beneath her foot. The moon reflected on the calm and endless ocean accompanied by the cold wind and the lonely stars. While admiring the scenery, she saw a lady sitting in the shore looking at the vast ocean as tears fell down to her cheeks.

Her eyes turned blue with a mixed of purple, the tears continuesly low in her eyes. The young lady suddenly knelt down, her shawl flew away when the wind blew hard into her making her silky dark blue hair shining under the bright moonlight.

"Oh, Hezelle... why..." She spoke between her sobbing. Her voice filled with sadness and pain towards the woman whose name is Hezelle. Elyse couldn't help but to feel pity on the young lady.

Elyse then tried to walk towards her but her body's not listening to her. Confused, she tried to call the lady.

"Miss-" she spoke but there was no voice coming out from her mouth. She tried multiple times but there was no use.

The lady then suddenly stood up and wipes her tears. The ocean waves are starting to feel rough and the clouds covered the bright moon's light.

"Who's there?" The lady then turned around but Elyse woke up from the dream.

Waking up, she sat down in her bed while she scan her surroundings. She's still inside The 4th District and also Maria's Mansion. It's been a week after the incident. Last night, Maria promised her that she will saved her family but Elyse must help them first.

Everyone knows that "The Master" can resurrect anyone. Be it an animal or not. But the current Master cannot do such things as much as The old master does. Which is why, Maria and the other leaders wanted their old master to come back and rule the world again.

Elyse took a deep sigh and changes her clothes. She skipped breakfast and enters the library inside the mansion. After the day she entered the mansion, many servants in this mansion treated her as some sort of noble lady.

She uses expensive dresses and sometimes jewelries that Maria gave her. Luxurious breakfast, lunch and dinner. Her life in the mansion feels like a living princess. Elyse hopes to share these moments with her family. As they were born commoners, Elyse's family are humble.

They are kind people that doesn't look down on others. That's what Elyse's parents taught them. Elyse is sure that her brother will like it here - Maria's Mansion.

While searching for a book to read, she stumbled upon a book that looks old and dusty. She scans the book cover and there were no title. She opens the book and flips the pages in between. She stopped when a letter was attached into it. She opens the letter and noticed that there was something fell in the floor when she opens the book. She ignores and read the letter first.

"To my dearest friends,

As i am writing this, the night is cold and it's making me trembling. This will be the last letter that i will be sending to you. I can still remember the day - the very first day i have met you all. I entered the walls of Olympia and you all welcomed me. I was overwhelmed, to join hands into the people whose known to be more powerful than anyone.

I am glad to be able to meet you all, i hope in my next life we will all meet again."

"Loving, Lucia." Elyse read outloud the last message in the letter. "Lucia..." She mumbles while she stares at the name. The flipped the pages of the book again and realized that it was not just some ordinary book but a diary.

A diary of someone whose name is "Lucia". The diary contains on the life journey to be part of the Alphas.

"The Alphas." There was a legend into it. Some say that there was a woman named "Lucia" who killed all the members of the Alphas because she had greedy intentions. Everyone made her into a villainess. While the other legend says that Lucia indeed killed them but she killed them because they were using her.

Elyse remembers the book she's been reading from her childhood. No one knows who's The Master of the Empire is. Because she never showed her face to anybody except the district leaders. The previous Master of the Empire is a mysterious Lady that rules over.

Elyse gulps, flipping through the pages in the diary as she reads every word. The diary was filled with love, hope and innocence of a person. The person who wrote this can't be Lucia. Because the Lucia that everyone knows is a cruel, heartless and greedy Goddess that took millions of lives.

She then remembered that there was something fell in the ground when she opened the letter earlier. Her gaze turns at the floor and saw an almost burnt photo.

It was a group photo and it seems that this was taken in the beach as the background says. The lady in the middle has her smile filled with love and happy.

The two ladies in each of her side also smiled but they looked like they're smiling with guilty and sadness. There was a boy on the background doing a peace-sign while jumping and smiling. On the other side is two serious men smiling to the camera. One has an ash-black hair and two had this blue-ish hair.

On again the other side is the man with blond hair and blue eyes. Elyse recognized the man with the blond hair and blue eyes. It's "King Samuel". In the legend of The Alphas, he is also part of the group and is also the husband of Lucia - The Queen. In the legend also wrote that both of them love each other dearly.

"If he is His Majesty, King Samuel. Then these gentlemen and ladies are..."

"The Alphas." Elyse startled when someone spoke behind her. It was a young man in his 20's with his dishiveled hair.

"Yeah, uh- i'm sorry i didn't took that off from the shelf." He apologizes.

"No, no! It's okay. I-i'm just curious." Elyse stuttered. She stares into his deep black eyes. He looks so mysterious and handsome. It made her heart pound fast just by looking at his handsome face.

"Uhm... Madam is calling for you." He said. Elyse woke up from her day-dreaming and nodded.

"Y-yes." Elyse walked out in the library with speed and goes into Maria's office.

"Did you call for me?" Elyse said after she knocked on the door. She let herself in.

"Yes.. this is urgent." She realizes that there are three gentlemen looking at her way with intimidating red eyes.

Elyse knows that these gentlemen are The Vampires. Just by their glance, you can say that they are pure-blooded vampires and also you can feel the presence of the previous master to them.

"Elyse." Maria called her out and she gazes at her.

"You're going to The Academy." Elyse froze from her spot, her mind couldn't process about what's going on. Everything happens faster than she expected.
