What's this obsession with babies, Kaya!

There was a thick cloud of silence.

"Kaya, I don't mean to bother you but the lasagna is ready."

" Oh, thank you. I'll be right there in a minute." I told her, I didn't even know that there was any lasagna.

"Who was that?." I heard Lycan ask.

"Hensley's mother." I told him.

"Did you mean what you said earlier?." He asked me.

"Lycan, we'll talk when I get back home." I told him.

"When is that, can I come pick you up?." He asked me.

"I'll be fine." I told him and I ended the call.

The lasagna was great but I just couldn't keep my head up.

"Kaya, are you alright?." Hensley asked me, I nodded.

"I'm fine, I'm just tired." I said sitting straight.

"Do you want me to take you home?." He asked

Before his mum could hide her expression, I saw that she wanted him to stay longer.

"No, Lycan is coming to pick me up " I lied and I stood up.
