When the call came in,  Instinct inside me had immediately told me to reject it. ignoring it. it was from an unknown number but for a ridiculous internal reason,  I just knew bad news came from it. I wasn't trusting of it. or whatever it held. or whatever was waiting for me at the other end of the line. and yet they've needed to  be my only option. I needed to take that risk. I know what you're thinking. that I'm just over doing this. that I'm making this a big deal even when it isn't. when that's not what I'm doing. because it is definitely a big deal. my instincts don't normally speak. and as far as I know instincts are a person's best friend. and so when I hear my instincts warning me against something then it is best to stay away from it. but yet again here I was sliding my finger across the accept button and then bringing the phone to admire. I'm excited Shriek  wraps from the other side and I pull it away fearing the damage it will cost to my ears.
