The reason

It was six months ago after his grandfather called him back from the base, his grandfather was the only person who cared for him after what happened to his father.

So he had a weak side for the old man and would always listen to him.

The old man had insisted for him to leave military and come back home since he was already old and had nobody to trust with their family business.

Gold was not one bit interested with anything of such and coming home made him feel sick especially when he had to encounter the hypocrites family members.

"Adam you do know that I won't force you into anything but at least think about what your father had worked hard for, will you let it all go to ruin in the hands of incapable people?" the old man said and he only listened with no expression on his face, he knew his father was his weakness and definitely wouldn't want to disappoint him.

" Also with the power in your hands you will be able to find her" old man Gold said but only to have an extreme reaction from the man.

" I have no intention of finding that woman!" Adam said sternly and he could say no more about the matter.

He knew his mother was another sensitive spot of his but only in an ugly manner.

Gold used to love his mother a lot but after what happened in the past she was the most hateful person in his heart.

After making his mind Gold decided to go for it and helped his grandfather run the business despite his love for military work and respectful position.

It was not easy but the old man had a lot of influence and power in the base having him back was a matter of blink of an eye, even Gold himself couldn't believe he was free just like that.

But that wasn't what reminded him of his arrival, it was the family's scheme and wierd demand from the succession of the position.

As if they aim to make things difficult for him, as if they could make him give up the position.

While they knew his hate for getting bounded they had one for him which he could not escape less he let go of everything including the position.

That was until recently he found himself a solution and that was her!.

It was temporary but didn't know how things would get out of hand and he was the one to start all.

One moment she took his interest another he needed her just as much as she needed him.

She was the perfect candidate likewise he was for her.

They both knew what they want and made sure to fulfill it.

But the moment he laid his eyes on her he knew she was his destruction and savior but was stubborn enough to make things hard for himself in the future.

And that reminded him of the promise he had made to his father.

" No I will never be like him.....I won't ever fall for any woman or their tricks" He vowed
