Olivia lost it all
Just as she has decided to put on pride and arrogance, the curse laid on her by her mother has ended her in mess. Despite the fact that Hudson put all his strength into seeing that she is not disappointed, He wonders why his power didn't intervene. "This is not ordinary; something must be wrong somewhere, and I don't know how it started." He complained, and Olivia yelling around.
" I have fulfilled my own part of agreement by marrying your son, but you have failed in doing yours."
She flashed back to the event that really made her lose Charles and, as well, her career. " Your son isn't my choice but you deceived me, you made me believe of taking the position after you, now not even a child in Alabama want to hear about me." She spoke. Hudson doing all he could to see that she believes what he has said regarding putting his best in seeing that she got there. "My friend, don't put much blame on my husband; you weren't blind nor deaf when he showed you or told you about being in power." It was your lack of knowledge and insight that made you think that Charles couldn't grant you your desire.You were so selfish and desperate; the same desperation led you to distroyed your pregnancy, and because of this, I have not been happy with you, I know you are aware of what really happened to your pregnancy." Isabella shouted at her. Olivia heart fled when Isabella told her that she was vividly aware of what had happened to her pregnancy. She wanted to defend herself but couldn't because it was all showing on her, her conscious speaking. She picked up courage and tried pretending.
"This is not about who destroyed the pregnancy; it is all about your husband, Hudson, being unable to play his own part as a father-in-law, and as it is now, I have lost faith in him." She answered Isabella. Isabella smile, she shook her head, without wasting of time, she raised hand to sleep Olivia, when Olivia, hold her hand. " Mother!" Jonathan shouted. "You can't do that at my present; she is my wife, and not longer a kid, she deserves respect. Don't lay your hands on her. Don't add more fire to what that have already started consuming; otherwise, you won't be able to rescue it." He interrogates her.
"What should I expect more than this? She has finally tied you up; she now controls you, which you do to please her." But get this right inside you, I won't be there to save you when she start pouring the ashes of fire that burns out of her anger on." She warned him.
" It is your husband that cause it, and as you are both one, you are expected to partake in that fire. Father has put me in trouble; I didn't ask him to get her attention for me in exchange for power. Yet he went ahead and did what he wasn't asked to do. You both have to find a way to work things out." He told them.
Hudson called his name, as he felt disappointed in him. "Can you listen to yourself? If not for the fact I was able to draw her to yourself with the promise you made, she wouldn't have been your wife. Remember, you didn't give me peace; you pressurized me until I was able to win her for you. Not knowing that it won't favor me." Hudson remind him. The family, know that Olivia fire will hardly take time to quench on them. "Mother, my problems are as a result of Charles and Deborah backing Christopher; he gained their full support while I was standing with just a man with empty promises. "That should be your problem. Goodbye." Regina ended the calls. Meanwhile, the call came in right when she was with the family, putting them in confusion. After receiving the words from her mother, she turned her back, went and sat in the dining room, and she poured the bottle of water inside the glass cup to drink, without knowing it was Isabella who dropped it there. "Not Mine water! " She stopped her. Olivia, after picking it, nearly pour it on the floor because she was shocked hearing due to the manner Isabella called her. " You scared me, this is your water you can have it for all I care." She dropped it, went about her business, and instead of getting herself one from the fridge, she decided not to drink again.
"Mother, I have known you to be a good mother; molesting and being so hard on my wife was the last thing I expected from you.Please, I beg you, if there is any way she has wronged you, please forgive her and accept her fully as your daughter-in-law, which she is." Jonathan pleaded with Isabella. His pleasing didn't penetrate his mother; she had wished he hadn't married her because everything about Olivia at that point irritated her, especially when she had the full feeling that she knew what happened to her pregnancy.
" She have drawn my anger the very day she destroyed her pregnancy, apart from that son, making you a cowards and trying to fight me, makes me hate her the more. You have be a strong child, courageous and a man enough, now here is Olivia who have destroyed all which you are made of." She added.
For about fifteen to twenty minutes, every where was silent, no one among the family talks, the were just stiring at each other be short of words.
at Charles house
Deborah had her head on Charles lap; she was looking at him, and Kingsi was already asleep in his room, siesta which was instructed by Deborah; she always does that for him to give her space where she can have fun with Charles, and as he keeps on observing it regularly, Charles sees to it to speak with her regarding it. "Don't you think you are becoming hard to this boy; he has overslept?" He asked her.
Deborah faced the wall instead of charl s face as she had been doing. The action display made Charles understand that she wasn't happy with what he said. "I am sorry, my darling. But it is the truth." He said.
"So you want to give him all your attention on a daily basis? I know he is our child, having been adopted by you. I am your wife, and I also deserve to be given attention." She complained. He turned her face to his side and kissed her lips, then after he said, "you have my attention always, of which you will always have. Okay, from today on, I will focus much on you, and even with that, my attention will also go to Kingston. You take 60 percent, while he takes 40. Is that okay?" He asked. She smiles and insists he maintain loving them equally, which Charles sees as impossible, but he makes a promise to improve and gives her the attention she deserves.
They ended it there and brought up the topic of what gender the unborn baby should be. "I will like the baby to be a girl." She said immediately Charles had asked her what gender she woud like the baby to be. "Why a girl, not a boy, first?" He asked her. "You have a boy already,whom you truly love; there is no need for more." Here she wants to use this as a test, where she will be able to get the reality about Charles love for Kingston and see if he will treat him badly on the arrival of a baby boy. "We need more boys; he needs to have a brother.Nevertheless, a girl this time should be preferable, and then after comes a boy, a brother to them. They both will protect their sister." He answered her.
Deborah was satisfied with his words, but she still asked to verify the more. "So the girl won't have a sister." He thought of what to replied her and finally said. "She is our princess and should have strong soldiers around her." He speak of Kingston and the future male child they would have. "She alone is okay for us. Nevertheless, we look to God for his perfect will." He said.
Deborah smiled again. He kept looking at him, seeing him as everything she has found in a man. "I blessed the day I met you. Kingsi though you were rude and ash to me, in your rudeness and anger I still found love, and today I have come to enjoy the benefit of the patience and endurance I was able to apply in loving you. You are the best." She expressed more of her love to him.
"My world without you is nothing. You have filled the gap in my life and have made me a complete man. No one was able to give me the best I needed in life until you came to the page. You deserved my cherishing, loving, and caring. And as I have always promised, I will love you till the end." He expressed also. They both kissed each other on the lips. Aside from that, she demanded a massage from him that hour, which he gave her to her satisfaction. The couple continues to live in peace and happiness.
The next day, when it was time for both of them to resume work for the day, Deborah had to just work three times out of the five working days. As demanded by Charles, she needed to be treated like a queen; this was what he told her newly hired assistant and every one of his housekeepers and cleaners. While they in return keep to that. He also went further by promising to make life miserable to whoever makes his wife angry, or he hears a report of disrespect from among any of his employees in the course of going with their service to her, whoever disrespects her will be fired. Everyone signs the agreement, and Deborah, on her side, keeps being nice to them, did don't thought if using her position to maltreat any among them.
He returned on a faithful day and found Deborah lying so tired and week. He called on her, but she was responding so badly, and when he called on the family doctor, they realized she was responding to the growth of the baby in the womb. And such demand she is properly taking care of. "Doctor, I will do as you said; in fact, I will stop her from working." He said. "No, she needs to exercise her body; just make sure she takes the proper medications and exercises her body." said the doctor. After giving him the directive, the doctor went on his way back to the hospital. Charles continued with the instructions; he did it as normal, and where she deserved body exercise, she probably did it. In trying to follow the doctor's instructions, Charles gives her more attention, spends time with her, and makes sure he reduces most of his office work.
"You are doing this to please me. Isn't it right that you focus on your work as much as before? I am always okay. and will be fine." She told him.
"You are my woman; it is my duty to take care of you. And I believe I am not complaining. So let me do my duty as instructed." He pleaded with her.
And she agreed, allowing him to do as he wanted. However, this would have be Olivia enjoying these from him, but selfishness and being too ambitious made her lose it, which she regrets all the time.
At the other hands, Olivia blog has been filled with much comment from the public, with words that say, "You deserve what you see." The unpleasant comment made her so annoying, and she saw Jonathan as a punishment for her wrongs. Meanwhile, the presidential election has not been conducted, yet Christopher have be know to be the winner, a prediction from the speed of support he have gotten, both among his party and the public.
