Eason advise Olivia

The way in which Christopher has started developing fame in the few weeks he had said his intention of becoming the next Alabama governor gave Eason full good faith that Christopher will surely win the election even with the support from the FEC.

Eason, with a good heart of his, called Olivia to his office, he have wanted to plead with her to step down freely without shame. she honored his called, in fact she worn the best of her dressings and a little token in her purse to bribe him with.

" I know you are a strong lady and very intelligent, but that isn't all you think can take you to the position you are desperate to be." He spoke,

Olivia expecting a straight explanation that didn't involve her stepping down.

"Yes, and that is why we always want your help." I know how the game is played, and I believe you know it better than I do, seeing that the citizens are familiar with you and Christopher. You should know how to convince them into accepting me" She said thinking he had called her for a favor.

"You have got it wrong if you think he will step down; rather, you do it peacefully, for the simple reason that you may not like what comes out of this at the end. However, he can compensate you with a honorable position if only you will step down."

She smiled at him, stiring at him alongside her we finger pointing at Eason, as she said,With great hunger."If there is anyone to step down, then he should be the one.I Olivia step down for him, even though Hudson has failed to carry out his duties and the promise he made to me, I will start from where he stopped, because Alabama power must lie on my palm." She boldly told him.

Eason, sitting with a funny face, saw the deep belief she has; he knew no one else could challenge her if not Christopher; he was the only man who rose with fame from around the crowd.

" Keep your father in-law out ift this, he have fail numerous times in discharging most of his duty, and such shall surely affect you. Remember am not trying to present him as an incompetence leader, instead to put you in the right direction where you won't regret only if you stepped down now and contest for the next post" He tried convincing her.

"I am not a failure; again, it has never occurred to me that I will lose it. So Hudson support don't count for now, I will succeed, and when I am done, your existence and fame in Alabama will go low. No one will hear about you as do today, since you have decided to be among my enemies." Still pointing at him, she hissed, and left the office.

" Wooooo! He exclaimed and continued, "She must be so strong and believe in herself." Oh, it is more than believing in yourself, this is politics and without you developing a good relationship with those involved you will fail." speaking alone in his office.

He drew his office curtain so as to view how angry she is, as she drove home. "I pray she drives gradually, and for Hudson, you have made a promise you can't fulfill. Nevertheless, we can still commiserate with her despite not being the president. Again." Just speaking to himself again.

The good advice he has given her at the moment has caused Olivia to lose the trust she has in Hudson.

She drove roughly into the compound, packing in the usual place, rushed into the house, and shouted Jonathan name. Jonathan, working with his laptop, heard how loud her voice had become, and he rushed out, thinking she was already in danger.She was already in the sitting room, hitting the wall. "Do not allow me to descend on you and your incompetent father, or else you won't like my display now." She shouted at him. Jonathan, wondering where such a word was coming from, "You left this morning so happy, why returned be annoyed, my love?" He came closer to touch him. "Don't touch me; your father has succeeded in deceiving me into getting married to you with the promise of making me the next Alabam Governor. Now, none of this is showing instead Christopher have gotten the heart of the people. Hudson knew this, yet he went ahead and deceived me." She explained more about what Eason has told her in his office. "Father didn't lie to you; he has assured you of the post, and I believe he will work it out." He spoke to calm her down.

The more he does, the more she keeps shouting. Jonathan allows her to calm down a little before speaking to her again. Keeping his hands across awaiting her calmness and in the next 30 minute she calm down, he hold her at hand and speak lovely. "Whatever Eason has told you shouldn't make you little yourself. You are a great woman, and a woman with vision, you have my support and that of my father, there is no need to panic. Moreover nothing have be said from the FEC yet, so you are still in with a chance of being nominated, After the process. The commissioner may be doing this to try your patience."

Jonathan words revived her, especially when he speaks of Joey trying to know her patience. And since the qualified candidate hadn't been announced, she believes of be the Chosen one.

"You have started reasoning well and sounding so nice. I should accept that for now, but bet me, if at the end of it all, I wasn't nominated, I won't take it likely with your father, infact the entire Hudson family. It is not a threat but a promise." She told him with everything in her. Jonathan agreed to that as well, wishing for peace to reign at that moment and hoping to speak to his father later.

For Jonathan, he knew Olivia to be a woman of her words, and if she failed, he knew how disastrous it would be for him and his father. "I thought she would take her mind off politics now and focus on me and the home. Not even the smoke of my expectations has started to show. she is desperate with this, and I know, if nothing serious is made concerning it, I will be the one receiving the heat of her anger on daily basis, especially now she have loss Hudson.
