"A charm?" He couldn't help but smile. "Why did you thought of giving me a gift?"

She pouted. "Because you taught me how to play golf."

"So, this is a show of your gratitude? But, didn't you not believe in God?"

"Grandma said that sincerity is what counts. I was earnest in my prayers."

Lennon stared at the charm for a moment and smiled unconsciously. This was the first gift she had given him.

"Did you pray that I'll stay away from you?"

Nelly frowned at his sarcasm. "If you don't want it, forget it."
