Chapter 44 Betrayal

Lennon narrowed his eyes.

Her father's bank account? This was the matter that Nelly wanted Ethan to help investigate.

He thought of the construction records of Bar Bridge that he had seen two days ago.

His gaze drifted towards the door. Now, he finally understood Nelly's true motive in marrying him.

"Master Lennon."

York's voice drew Lennon's attention.

He said, "Retrieve a copy of the information Ethan Roland investigated. Remember, don't draw attention."

"Yes, sir."

Hanging up the phone, Lennon crossed his arms and thought.

Nelly asked Ethan for help because she didn't trust him.

The reason she did not trust him... Did she suspect that the accident at the Bar Bridge had something to do with Damine Group?

He got up and went out of the study.

Nelly had just turned on the TV. She asked when she saw him come out, "What do you want to eat tonight? Should we order room service, or should I cook?"
