Chapter 36 First Attempt at a Surprise

Nelly was lost for words. What a triple whammy!

Lennon walked into the restaurant and looked back at her miserable face. "Aren't you coming in?"

Feeling depressed, Nelly went in.

After they were seated, Nelly had a bad feeling. When she picked up menu, she was even more dejected.

Everything was in French. She could not read the names of the dishes, but the prices behind them made her gasped.

Some were in thousands, and others in ten thousands.

Were they consuming food or money?

She pushed the menu towards him. "I don't understand the menu. You can order."

"Are you sure?"

Oops... It looked like he was going to rip her off.

She retrieved the menu, pointed at a six hundred figure, and said to the waiter, "What is this? I want this one."

The waiter had a look. "Ma'am, this is dragon fruit juice."

"Well, I want this one. I'm on a diet." Then, she handed the menu to Lennon. "Just order for yourself."

Lennon suppressed his laughter and lowered his head to order.
