chapter 26 Edward's pov

We made it out of the house debating on who to take the wheel,I know I'm a man but it does not mean , men should always be the one driving ,anyway I decided to drive around town with Scarlett.I think it was a bad idea bringing her along coz all she did was whine and yawn all through the drive.

We decided to stop at a nearby restaurant to grab some drinks and food .while I was busy paying the bills I saw a familiar figure with black wave hair , same height , same body complexion.

"I finally found you."

I quickly left what I was doing , ran to her then I gave a long welcomeng back hug , she tensed a bit before relaxing into my touch .Her scent is knowledgeable,God I miss that fragrance,I couldn't stop snickering,I'm a happy man now.

I turn her around coz I mean I have enjoyed a great view of her ass it was time to see those mesmerising eyes and those tempting fluffy rips...

"Ooh my God Ta...", my happiness short lived , I met with those murderous ugly eyes that I haven't seen in years

" You? "asked a bit astounded and surprised.

" yes me !what? where you expecting someone ?"asked Catherine

Well Catherine was my business partner , we did horrible things together, we where even flings or let me say friends with benefit , but it didn't end well as one caught feelings when they were not suppose to ,I even told her from the beginning that there should not be string attached but she just couldn't control her stupid heart .I know I'm good looking , alluring ,I'm so good in bed ,there's just so much charm that lives in me but goodness theres a limit to everything.Anyway the reason I hate her is that she sold me off to some dangerouss drug dealer , you can't even imagine the hell I went through because of that bitch ,its still haunt me down , it was not easy to settle the score with the dealers but I did ,,now I'm a free man but that does not mean I have forgotten about it completely ,I'm still cautios thats why its just hard for me to start trusting people again. This woman has no shame , she filed a case for molestation against and here she is again ,I will have to teach her a lesson.

" Ca..... Catherine Leinster , what are you doing here " I said

" I see its no longer Cathy but Catherine but don't worry that will change soon when you pleasingly moan my name in your bed" she said trying to seduce me.

"In your dreams , that could never happen, to tell you the truth that was the biggest mistake of my life,there's no second , minute, hour or day that I don't regret it , so drop the act you know how much I dispise you , even the mere sight of you is making me throw up, so what is the whore like you doing in such a decent place." I said disgusted and furious.

"Well for starters, a whore that you once f*k in your office table , bathroom and your bed is a waitress and stop lying I know you want this body coz if you didn't you could have never hug me in the back and it took a lot of money to make it look this perfect ,I even change my hair colour and odor,I thought you are going to like it but it seems that you are whipped by that orphan bitch." Catherine

"sorry what did you just say " I implored furiously

"Which part , the waitress part or the money part" she asked dumply.

I grabbed her neck roughly making sure to leave bruises, so she can see I'm serious" you know exactly what I'm inquiring , so I'm asking you to repeat the last part.

She have seen this side of me but not worse than this so she better tell me , or she sure will awaken the beast in me ,'cause I can hear it groaning in there , just hang in there buddy let's be patient a bit.

"she what? speak! I don't have all day " I said twisting her arm to add to the pain that she's arldeay feeling.

"I know.... where...she is ,she's in your basement." she said with teary eyes ,you deserve it a millions time bitch

"and how do you know that " I asked

"I thought if I try to impersonate her, you would come crawling back to me " shameful isn't she .

"you didn't answer my question " I added not letting go off her yet , she sure is tasting my patience.

"I have been watching you for about 2 months now and I have seen how you took a liking in her and you have never done that to me "

"listen hear ugly face , this should be the last time you stalk me or whatever ,don't and I repeat don't meddle in my trysts , mind you business and I will mind mine and if you don't it won't end well,you don't know what I'm capable of anymore , so be careful" I said finally letting go off her , pushing her into the tables.

"Go back to your jobs , what the fuck are you looking at" she said firing to her co workers with murders yet shameful eyes.

I might as well do this now.

"I'm sure you can see what kind of employees you keep and don't be surprised when you start experiencing more loss than profit , so if I were you I would fire her now to save my business" I said to the manager who had a tag written manager.

"was just about to do that Sir , ms Leinster you are fired ,your paycheck for the one month will be paid to you today please leave before I call the police and you know I have given you many warning so there won't be any this time ,it was not a pleasure working with you" said the manager

"Too bad 'cause I can say the same about you, so Dragon or Dravis or whatever your name is go to hell" she said

"it's Derrick bitch " the manager corrected grinding his teeth.

"Whatever you good for nothing imbiscle " she replied back storming out of the restaurant

"Who was that! " asked Scarlett who kept quite through the whole scene.

"let's go " I said ignoring her question.

"whoever it was,I like the way you have put her in her place,I'm proud of you" Scarlett said paring my back.

"Thanks" I gave a questioning look

"Hey,don't give me that look " she said pointing a finger at me with a huge smile.

"But on a serious note , what made you hug her like that, I mean are you really that desperate to find Tariah ,for God'sake, she's nothing close to Tariah." she laughing releasing the tension from the air

"don't laugh ok " I said chuckling a little bit while swimming through the sea of cars.

"Just tell this heart of mine to stop acting stupid ,I don't even know who I am anymore, imagine me running to hug that stupid thing I even left the bill that I was paying " I said replaying the scene in my mind , so embarrassing.

Tariah busted out laughing, damn... I mean Scarlett

,she thinks its funny but its seriously frustrating having her on my mind and dreams.

" let's go look at the basement to see if it's true ,I want thus nightmare to be over,I don't want to see you over worked like that."Scarlett said

We jogged to the basement and there she was, lying on the bed unconscious.

No no no , this can't be happening ,you have to wake up Tariah, You can't put me through shit to look for you just to find you lifeless this better be a prank.

I instantly carried her bridal style to my bedroom ,I don't even know what to do , cause right now I don't think I'm even in the right state of mind ,I'm freaking out, I was just about to splash water on her face cause i still believe it's a prank ,thank God Scarlett decided to call the doctor.

"The doctor would be here in 5 minutes" she stated worriedly.

"5 minutes are you kidding , do you know 5 minutes mean 300 seconds of Tariahs life at stake." I said sounding ridiculous.

" Just calm down , everything will be okay ,she's a fighter I'm sure the 300 seconds are nothing for her ,she's a worrywart."scarlet said comforting me.

"you sure? " I asked

"Ja"she said

(the bell rang)

I quickly jotted downstairs to open the door,I let the doctor in then we both ascended to my room.

The doctor said we should leave her alone with Tariah, we quickly left the room and let her do her job ,it's a good thing that the doctor is

female or else I could never have left the room if you know what I mean.
