208 Hope for the future

Jasper couldn't believe that Sebastian was suggesting something like this. He had put his heart and soul into his company, and only he knew how hard he had worked to make it a success. The mere thought of leaving it behind left him feeling lost and alone.

"I founded this company and put my sweat and blood into it," he said. "It is not only about my hard work. My emotions are attached to it. I cannot leave it behind and go with you."

"The choice is yours, Jasper," Sebastian said flippantly. "I am not forcing you. But you will have a better future if you come with me."

His voice was full of assurance.

"I have always been impressed with your work and dedication, and I believe that you can be a valuable asset to my organization."

Sebastian had a different plan for Jasper. But, before making any decisions, he intended to put him to the test in every way, and he needed him by his side to do so.
