Julia Park, who was a 29 years old police sergeant and had less knowledge of relations with men, so, no matter who would ask to date her, she would mess up her relation professionally. She had lived in Oslo, far from her original village, Bergen.

Her life as a sergeant was organized and neat, she caught the criminals, investigated in difficult crimes, helped citizens in need and took care of little children. However, as a lover she was only a failure and a forever single woman.

"Miss Park..." called a man

"Yes, boss!" she replied

In front of her was her boss, Rafael Spears, the captain of the police office of Osla. A handsome man with a blonde golden hair that looked like strands of the sun rays, a white cotton-like skin that resembled a combination of English Asian beauty and a couple of blushy apple red cheeks that tainted his snowy area of face.

His smile was not of a mere human being, but was an angel's. Framed by a pair of plumpy winey kissable lips, was a smile that radiated with soft light, that would ease the eyes by its pearly beautiful teeth. Handsome was a word that could not well describe him, especially his lusty body that was curved from his tight t-shirt and his sweaty clothes after the training.

He surely was a crush of hers, but her lack of emotional expressions could not allow her to flirt well with him…

"Miss Park, are you busy right now?" asked Rafael "Do you have something important?"

"Ah... Well... No.." she mumbled "Not really, why?"

"Oh, cool. I want you to finish some documents in the office. Please, get in contact with all of the officers, collect their data about the city's last cases, insert the data on the computer and send it to my office please."

"Oh... Ok..."

"Also..."

"Yes!"

"If you needed any help, do not hesitate to contact me!"

"Ah... Thank you!"

The very little words of him made her feel delighted and optimistic as she liked his voice, his loud tone and his masculine words. As a result, she did not feel any annoyance from being ordered by him.

Julia left her office and payed a visit to officers' workroom to collect what her boss had asked her to. Deep inside was a bunch of men and women with a ring in their left or hand that resembled a relationship ring. She understood that she was the only single one.

"Good morning everyone!" she greeted "By the orders of Mister Bae, I want the detailed information about all of the cases in the last month. Abduction, stealing, harassment, rape, killing, and any other incidents. Then, please send them to my office by today, I need to find all of your names on the documents. Have a good day!"

"Morning miss single," laughed officer 1 "you seem angry today, did something happen with you?"

"Or did you get dumped by another guy?" mocked officer 2

"Or did you jail him because he touched your butt?" hooted officer 3

"I will kill you bastards!!" she yelled "I will accuse you of bullying me!!"

"Oh miss," called officer 1 "We are only worried about you."

"Up until now," commented officer 4 "you had only ruined every relationship you had..."

Julia felt her heart thump out of her chest as if her breast bones drummed on her heart. Her face turned scarlet from the embarrassment and she felt being mocked as if she was an exterior to them and a different type of species. Being single did not hurt her as much as the society around her did... For some moments, she really felt lonely...

"Guys... Please... Stop it..." she murmured "You are hurting me..."

Julia turned her back on them and closed her ears to meet only their laughter and continuous mocking and chuckles. She closed the door angrily and rushed towards her office again, as she felt her heart broke and shattered into pieces...

"Miss Julia!" called a guy from the back after she heard the door close again "Please wait. We have to talk!"

"Eh?" she startled as she looked back towards the caller

It was an officer who did not join long ago, in other words, just a spy of Samuel Spears. He seemed determined to tell her about an important matter. So, she asked him to follow her to her office for a private talk before the boss would pay a visit for her.

"Ok, here we start, miss." Started the officer "I heard that you are a funny girl with a lovely type of personality..."

"Are you here to praise me?" she questioned "Or just to mock me as them?"

"I did not mean so, miss..."

"I guess you are a newbie here, so please know that you must have your limitation with me!"

"For a soft girl like you, you really have a sharp tongue... But these lips of yours look so gusucre and appealing... Your eyes look like a pair of irresistible sapphires... Your skin looks like a fair touchable snowflake... And your hair is merely locks of coaly silks... Not to mention that delicious body of yours... These rocky abs... The..."

"Stop it! I will call this sexual harassment. Do you want me to punish you?"

"I am here to bless you with a great offer."

"I am not for use! I will kill you!"

As she was drowning in the documents in her office, her door knocked for several times and it was a knocking pattern that she was used to.

Knock… Knock…

"Come in!" she yelled

"Hello, miss birthday!" Her boss, Rafael showed up from the back of the door, with a wide smile curving his lips, when he entered the office calmly.

"Oh, mister Spear. Hello."

"What's with that cold hello?"

"I... I am sorry... I am a bit of exhausted..."

"Really??! Oh my, can't I take your exhaustion?"

"Teehee!!"

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday little Julia, happy birthday to you!! May your 29th birthday be a blessing to all of your years, may you have your lucky man and create a happy family with him!"

"Ah... You remembered my birthday!! I cannot believe that you remembered me... Oh my god... Thank you..."

"I would never ever forget little Julia's birthday!"

"Oh my, I am a granny now, not a little anymore!!"

"Oh, but I see you nothing but a young girl!"

"Is it because that your soul is so young?"

"Miss Park, where have you been on your birthday? I have prepared a surprise for you but found you nowhere..."
