Although everything seemed to be alright with the world, Lia still felt a huge hole in her heart.
They say time heals everything, however, even if time could make the outside look unharmed, the scars inside had a way to bleed at times. She found herself sometimes missing Bobby. Not Bobby the psycho but Bobby the friend she had come to love and care for like family.
It was time she realized that the friend she thought she had in Bobby was fictional. A well-constructed lie.
Lia dressed up in a power suit and piled her hair on top of her head in a sleek ponytail. She had some business to take care of. Looking at herself in the mirror, she grimaced. How did wearing anything formal always make her feel like a fish out of water?
However, this had to be done.
Lia parked her car at the Pluto Oil distillery building and stepped out. She walked into the building, her heels clicking and clacking as she made her way to the reception.
