Liam watched Gea who was lying in a curled-up position while embracing his waist. The man wanted to go get something in the kitchen but could not bear to leave his wife who was enduring the pain.

"We should go to the doctor," he said.

"I'm scared," Gaia whispered sadly.

"What are you scared of? It would be worse if we got there late. Your state is so weak and I can't watch you go on like this?" Liam brushed Gea's hair, stroking it gently.

Gea looked up to see Liam. "I'm afraid to face the bad reality. I wasn't ready..."

"Everything will be fine..."

"What if not?" Gea asked sadly, of course, that was part of the play. "What if we can't keep it up? Will you be sad... Are you going to leave me?"
