1 The Deal

"I will give you anything you want. But in exchange, you will give me anything I want. Your time, your body, and your life. All of you will be mine."

It was an offer she couldn't resist. Nicholas Hudson knew that she was desperate, and he was the only one who could help her.

But when did she hear those lines before? Ah! That was two years ago. He offered the same deal to her when she was just twenty-two.

She did not accept it because she had her dignity back then. But time had passed, and she wasn't the same girl anymore.

She chuckled. "Mr.Hudson, you knew exactly why I came to see you. Your offer seemed fair, but if I accept it, will you really give me anything I want? I have a few conditions with this kind of agreement."

Nicholas frowned. "Are you doubting me?" He paused, then crossed his legs. "Okay. Tell me one of your conditions."

She smiled. "Simple. I want everyone to know that I am your mistress. No secrets. No hiding. I want it to be legal."

Nicholas was surprised. He didn't expect her to make such a condition.

"So what's it gonna be, Mr.Hudson?"

"And why do you think I would agree with this nonsense?"

"Nonsense? That's funny. You must be forgetting something. You owe me two years ago.

Nicholas clenched his fist. What happened two years ago was really his mistake, but how could this woman use it against her? He thought inwardly.

"Do I need to remind you?" She smirked.

Was she threatening him? But he didn't really have a choice. Even if it was a threat, he needed her more than she needed him.

"Fine. I'll introduce you to everyone."

She laughed, making Nicholas annoyed.

"Mr.Hudson, you don't get it. I want you to introduce me to the world. If not, then we have no deal."

She knew exactly what Nicholas' weakness was—her. She was the woman he never had. The woman he was obsessed with. And in the past two years, she made sure that it never changed.

Nicholas massaged his temple, and then stared back at her.

"Why? I need to know the reason."

"I want to be recognized. That's all. You're the most powerful man in the country. No one will dare to question you if you have a legal mistress." She paused. "Wait. Are you scared of your wife?" She chuckled.

"You know very well that I am not afraid of anyone."

"Then we have no problem, right?"

Nicholas nodded. "How about you? What can you do for me?"

She smiled. "Just like you said. You will have me. All of me is yours."

Nicholas handed her a document to sign. It was an agreement with no strings attached. And a love that she should never have.

Yes. She was in love with him. They met two years ago. He wasn't married back then. She was working in a club and he was a regular client.

Nicholas never had a good reputation when it comes to women. He was a womanizer. Everyone knew about his useless spending just to have sex with different women. But because he was rich and powerful, they still loved him.

He was every woman's dream because he had everything. Money, fame, power, good-looks. And she wouldn't deny the fact that she was one of those women.

But now that he's married, she could only settle as just his mistress. Never in her wildest dreams that she would become one like her mother. But she needed Nicholas to get out of her fucked up life and to get her revenge to the people who made her life like hell.

After she signed it, Nicholas gave her a black card.

"It's unlimited. You can spend as much as you want. Buy a place using that. Just text me the address, then I will come."

"When will I have my introduction?" She asked.

She was more interested to know the world that she was Nicholas Hudson's mistress.

"You're too impatient. There's a huge party in two days for President Myers. I was invited so I will bring you there and introduce you. Satisfied?"

"A party for the president. That's a great idea." She exclaimed.

Nicholas whispered something to the men who just came in.

"They will be your bodyguards. I won't stop you from coming to that bar, but you can't accept any client."

"Rule number five." She whispered. "Then, if I stop working, will you also stop coming to that bar?"

Nicholas laughed. "That rule doesn't apply to me. But if you satisfy me, then maybe."

As soon as both parties signed the contract, and everything was settled, Nicholas left the hotel.

She couldn't explain what her feelings were. Finally, she was Nicholas' woman. She waited two years for it to happen. And now she could start her revenge.

"Let the game begin." She laughed. "But first, I have to find a decent place.

She took her phone to call her friend, Ady. And she came immediately.

"So you did it? Finally?" Ady asked excitedly.

She nodded.

"So, how does it feel?"

"I don't know how I should feel, Ady. It's a mixed emotion. I always wanted to be his and you know that. But it's different now because of that woman. I can finally fight her." She answered.

Ady was truly happy for her, but she was worried.

"Are you sure about this? What if Nicholas finds out? Do you think everything will change?"

She sighed deeply. "That's exactly what I want. For him to find out. I didn't tell him because I'm not sure if he will believe me. Maybe not everything will change, but I am hoping for justice."

"You know that I'm on your side. But that woman is dangerous. You almost died because of her. I'm worried." Ady commented.

She gritted her teeth. Remembering what that woman did to her made her blood boil. Her life was like hell because of that evil woman, all the more reason she wanted revenge.

"She gave me hell. It would be bad if I don't pay her back, right?" She smirked.

Ady nodded. "Fine. If you have already decided, then let's do this. But first, we have to deal with Mama and the club.

She didn't answer. Club Montefalco was where she had worked for two years —the place where it all started.
