An offer

"High five!" Harrison said, holding out his hand to Honeybell.

"I wouldn't try that," Flower remarked.

"We're all squished in this car today then," Harrison claimed, grabbing Flower's hand. They both began pulling at her hand.

"Ouch!! Harry, Honey!" She winced.

"Are you both the seniors, or am I?" She asked.

"Sorry, big sis, but you're going to succumb to our demands. If not, we aren't leaving you," HoneyBell answered.

After many fights and arguments in the car, they arrived at the mall after thirty minutes.

Harrison and HoneyBell ran in immediately, and Flower's stomach grumbled.

"Guys, let's eat after shopping. I'm so hungry," she said.

"Of course! Where's the wristband I saw last week?" Harrison replied, rushing to a rack.

His eyes widened when he couldn't find the band again.

"It has been sold out," one of the attendants told him.

"What? I told you I'd come back to buy it. Why? My wristband! My wristband!" He started shouting like a child, hugging the rack.

"Stop disgracing me!" Flower quickly pulled him away from the rack, and Honeybell appeared with a shopping cart full of things she had already bought. They were overflowing.

"What the hell! Honey, are you trying to buy the whole mall with my entire salary?" Flower gasped.

"Best big sis in the world!" Honey screamed, blowing kisses at her.

"That won't work, so return some!" Flower snapped, pouting.

"C'mon... big sis!"

"God," Flower muttered, already tired.

"What do I do with these two bunches of trouble?"

Flower emerged from the bathroom with a white towel wrapped around her body. She started applying facials when her phone started ringing. She picked up her phone and scrunched her face when she saw the caller ID. It was an unknown number, but nevertheless, she picked up the call.

"Hello, who is this?" she asked with her sweet baby voice.

"Am I speaking to Miss Flower Cunningham?" a hoarse voice sounded from the background.

"Yeah, but who is this?" Flower asked, confused.

"You don't know me. Well, allow me to do a brief introduction. I'm Mr. Japheth Nichols," Japheth introduced.

"How did you get my number?" Flower inquired.

"I have my ways, you know. You work at Eat and Drink Restaurant, right?"

"How do you know, and what business do I have with you?" Flower asked, intrigued.

"I have a huge contract for you that would fetch you a lot of money," Japheth enthused.

"What is it all about?" Flower asked, curiosity piqued.

"Well, I'll text you an address where you can come if you're interested," he said and ended the call.

Flower furrowed her brows in confusion. What was this all about?

Suddenly, her phone buzzed, and she checked it to find an address. She tossed her phone aside and sat on the bed, contemplating.

"What should I do? Should I go?" she asked herself, feeling a mix of apprehension and curiosity.

"I don't even know him," she mumbled, running her fingers through her hair, trying to make sense of the situation.

…..

Honeybell checked herself in the mirror for the last time before walking out of her room. She was going on an outing with her friends. She was dressed in a white crop top that revealed a hint of her toned stomach, paired with tight denim jeans and white boots.

She let her brown hair hang loose as usual, adding a white hairpin for a touch of style. Her lips were adorned with light red lipstick, adding a cute pop of color.

The doorbell rang, and she went to open the door, revealing Celdrick. As soon as Celdrick set his eyes on Honeybell, his eyes widened and his mouth fell open. He was awestruck by her beauty.

"How can someone be this beautiful?" was the thought running through Celdrick's head. He had actually sneaked out of his house to visit Honeybell, as his dad wasn't home. He couldn't help but stare at Honeybell like a moron, while she thought he had gone insane.

"Gosh, close your mouth before insects fly inside," Honeybell sneered.

Honeybell's voice brought him back to reality, and he immediately closed his mouth. How can someone be this beautiful and still look so innocent? Her voice is even magical. He was going crazy at this rate.

"Harry isn't home," Honeybell said.

It pained Celdrick that she thought he came to visit Harrison when, in reality, it was her he came to meet.

"Ohh," he muttered, running his hand through his hair.

"Could you excuse me? I have somewhere to go," Honeybell requested.

He was pained that he couldn't spend more time with her. He suddenly came up with a plan.

"Can I take a picture of you?" he asked, bringing out his camera.

"Why?" she scrunched her eyebrows.

"I want to paint it," he answered, running his hand through his hair.

"Do you paint?" she asked excitedly. It was obvious she was unaware of his painting skills.

"Yeah, I do," he answered plainly.

"Gosh, can you help to paint pictures of my friends and me?" she inquired.

"Yeah, I can," Celdrick announced. He would do anything for her. All he wanted was her happiness.

"Oh my gosh!" she screamed excitedly, hugging him.

She started posing in different styles as Celdrick happily took pictures of her.

"I need to go now," she announced.

"Yeah, let's go out together," Celdrick replied, and Honeybell nodded in agreement.

"Can I take you to your destination with my car?" Celdrick inquired. He had come prepared with his car.

"Sure," she smiled brightly, heading towards the car.

He opened the car door for her, and she gracefully hopped in. Celdrick followed suit and ignited the car into motion.

"Where to?" he asked, stealing glances at her.

"Julienne's house. I'm sure you know it," she answered.

"Yeah," he nodded and drove off.

The car smoothly stopped in front of Julienne's mansion, and Honeybell stepped out.

"Thanks for the ride, Drick," she thanked him sincerely.

"It's a pleasure," he replied, his smile reflecting his genuine happiness.

She turned around and headed into the mansion, her petite figure disappearing from his view.
