"Are you sure you'll be fine?" Elias asked Maddison over the phone. 

"Yes, it will be fine," She replied while twirling a lock of her hair. 

Maddison was on her way to the King Family Mansion to see Edith, who was still recovering. She had cooked a few special meals that would help speed up the healing process. In the past, Elias and gone with Maddison. 

But on this day, he had an emergency meeting to attend and could not go with her. He'd called her during a mid-meeting break to check on her. 

"Alright. I will try and be there as soon as I can," Elias said before they ended their call. 

She wanted to protest but Maddison knew he wouldn't change his mind once it's been set. As soon as she reached the mansion, Maddison felt her stomach churn. She noticed a few different luxurious cars parked out front.
