*Sophie’s POV*

I couldn’t believe it. I was engaged. G*d, this diamond was enormous. I loved the way it sparkles in the sun. I was honored to wear this ring, knowing it has been in Nigel's family for generations. Nothing could compare to this feeling I had.

I was a bit nervous; I'd never been engaged before. How long should we take before planning the wedding? Who would be my wedding planner? Where will the wedding be? What's Nigel and I's special song? We must have a special song to dance to on our wedding day.

Nigel approached and handed me a tropical pineapple punch as I lay on the towel. We decided to have brunch on the beach today. Many thoughts filled my mind. Where would we have the wedding? Who would I invite? What kind of wedding would I have with unlimited money at my disposal?

"Stop thinking." Nigel nudged.

"I can't help it. This is crazy,” I declared.

Nigel smiled. "Just enjoy the moment."

He leaned in and kissed me.
