Chapter 50: The Interview Games
*Nigel’s POV*
George dropped me off at my office for my date with Sophie.
"Good luck," he nodded as he closed the car door behind me.
"Thanks, George. I'm going to need it tonight,” I smiled.
I unlocked the office doors and entered the elevator. Thankfully, my security could have everyone out of the office when I arrived. I texted my chef to ensure he had the keys to enter the building and would be able to set up the dinner for tonight.
I saw that all my requests were arranged as I entered my office. Silk black sheets were over the dinner table with two candles in the middle. Rose petals covered the floor, and the red carpet was placed from the elevator to Sophie's seat.
'Tonight has to be perfect.'
I made sure every detail was accounted for.
I stared at the walls, ensuring they were covered with pictures I had blown up of Sophie and me on our trip to Paris, the Swiss Alps, and other dates.
