Chapter 46: Keys to the Media

*Sophie’s POV*

I hadn't planned on returning from the Swiss Alps this soon, but I could no longer focus after seeing Jodi with my video camera. I tried thinking of a thousand reasons she was in my office, but nothing made sense. Though, the one thing that did make sense was why she never wanted anyone to help her find out who leaked the video and why she tried to convince me that it was Jane. Jodi didn't want me snooping around because she knew she would be exposed if the truth came out.

I wanted to confront her, but Nigel convinced me to wait. He said he had some unfinished business regarding this matter and would be home shortly. We flew in late last night, and I wanted to spend the night at his estate. Given everything that had happened, I wasn't ready to go home, and my body started to tense from the second we landed in Miami.

Thankfully, Lisa was informed about what happened and told me to take all the time I needed.
