Chapter 41: The Girl in the Video
*Nigel’s POV*
I didn't tell Sophie I was meeting with a friend who could hack into Celebrity News One security and find out who entered her office. When she told me that the tapes were gone, I knew something wasn't right, and after the time we spent together at the retreat, I knew she was telling the truth about not leaking the tape.
Sophie's forgiveness meant the world to me. Her compassion moved me, and I honestly couldn't see my life without her, but I wanted to put this video leak crap behind us once and for all.
I was meeting Frank, who used to work for the secret service and had connections in the security services industry.
George dropped me off at Frank's house to meet privately.
"Hey man, it's been a while," Frank said as he greeted me. The last time I had seen Frank was five years ago, and he was slim with a buzz haircut. Now, he had a beer belly and a long unkempt beard. "Come on in. I'll grab you a beer."
