Chapter 13: Off The Record
Sophie's POV
Nigel stepped out of the shower and hurriedly put his clothes on. "I still may make the meeting in time." He grabbed his watch, kissed me on the forehead, and told me to order whatever I wanted.
I rolled on the bed and kicked my feet in the air. It was almost as if I needed that quickie to allow myself the freedom to embrace being in Paris fully. The voices from my past were gone, and I felt like a goddess.
I rolled over onto my belly and grabbed my phone from the nightstand. I couldn't wait to tell Abby about my Paris sexual escapades. I scrolled to Addy's phone number and called her. Thankfully, Nigel paid for me to add international service to my plan.
"Hello. Sophie. Can you hear me? Are you safe?" Addy asked.
"That depends on your definition of safe. I had sex thirty thousand feet in the air." I screamed, unable to contain my excitement.
"You did what?" Addy screamed, bursting with laughter.
