149 I Will Never Forgive You

Erik mulled over Aryana's words.  If the syndicate conducted an investigation, they will find out that Erik's and Aryana's presence in the arena were just coincidental.

Lieutenant Abares approached Erik and Aryana.  He was wearing civilian clothes.

"Miss Jones we meet again."  He greeted her politely.

Aryana gave him a hesitant smile.

"You are not pleased to meet me?"  He smiled.  "I understand because when we meet, it means you are in trouble."

Aryana laughed lightly.  "I know right.  I hope to meet you but not in this circumstances."

Erik cleared his throat to catch their attention. "I'll accompany Aryana to the police station.  See you there."

Erik pulled Aryana and led her to the elevator.  He called his driver and told him to pick them up at the entrance of  Xeon hotel.  He had also messaged King of Aces If he can hack on the CCTV of the arena and investigate if there were suspicious people around.
