Confession

The task had already stretched longer than a week and John was getting tired. It was like the two were conjoined or something because they were always together.

They were either at the office together, going home together, or having dinner together, he just hoped that Lucas and her security detail would be lax when she actually sneaks out for her lunch break.

But, unfortunately for John, he wasn't careful enough, because he kept bringing the same car to tail Audrey, her security team sniffed a rat, making them more cautious. 

Like most days when she snuck out for lunch when her security detail was most lax, John fired up his engines to start tailing her, his kits ready just in case his mission was successful.

He was disappointed however to see Lucas a couple of steps behind, looking like a puppy hypnotized by its favorite snack. "This is going to take some time!!", John mumbled before he settled to take a nap.

" A little to the left! One more!! Flip your hair! Exactly, keep it natural!!. You're doing great, leave that smile, one more just one more!! And that's a wrap!" The director said as he went through the pictures on the camera.

Emily sighed as she left the shooting scene, 'it has been a long week!', Emily thought as she headed to her dressing room where Tessa was waiting.

"Welcome. How was it?!", Tessa asked, as she was concerned for her friend. " Exhausting!!", Emily managed to reply out of her tiredness.

Emily's agency didn't even want to hear another excuse after she was discharged from the hospital. The multiple shots she had been postponing finally caught up to her and she had to do it.

For the last two weeks, she and Tessa went around the city, lodging in hotels as she needed to complete the shoots. She finally finished on that Friday and even if she remained professional during the shoot, only Tessa could relate to how tired she was.

"Is the food here?", Emily asked, referring to the food Tessa said she ordered earlier. " Hm, no, not yet, they should be downstairs anytime soon!".

"Alright, any more shoots to take care of?", Emily asked as she just wanted to get all her work done. " Well, no, that's all for the month!", Tessa said before she remembered an important point.

"I'm so happy!", Emily said with a big smile plastered on her face. " You have a free period of two weeks!", Tessa said, looking at her phone to confirm the duration of Emily's rest time.

"Ohh, the delivery's here!", Tesa said after receiving the notification on her phone. " I'll be back!", Tessa continued before she left, leaving Emily to her thoughts.

'A whole two weeks!', Emily thought, the gears in her head moving. 'I can finally go back to Lucas!', Emily thought as if the situation was that easy. If only she knew how serious Lucas was with Audrey.

'I just need to find something to separate both of them with. Well, it wouldn't hurt to slut myself, it's for the greater good anyways!', Emily thought as she intended to do something really low for an A class model like her.

"Let's just get lunch and come back!", Audrey said, dragging Lucas out of his private elevator.

" But we could go to my place and just spend the whole day!", Lucas protested. He didn't know where the sudden urge came from, all Lucas could admit was that he just wanted cuddles and kisses from Audrey.

Not just cuddles and kisses too, but quality time together where he could grab whatever he wanted.

"No, when we get Lunch, we come back!", Audrey insisted. " Fine!", Lucas said, even though he really didn't mean it. "What happened!", Audrey asked noticing the change in his mood.

Seconds before, he was hellbent on ditching work, and then his gloomy looking face, the one which looked cold and aloof which Audrey was terrified of.

" Its nothing, lets just go get launch!", Lucas said, helping her with her seatbelt. Audrey didn't even know what to do as she had never been in such a confusing situation with Lucas.

"Did I do anything?!", Audrey suddenly asked on their way to the restaurant they agreed to eat lunch. " No, nothing,you didn't do anything, it's my fault for asking to spend time together!", Lucas said, dropping the hint.

She didn't even need to be told that Lucas was throwing a tantrum, but that didn't mean she was going to let him ditch his work either.

"Ohh, alright then! Want to tell me about how your day has been so far?", Audrey asked provoking Lucas even more. He had thought she would finally bend to his request but she didn't, making him even more frustrated.

" It was fine!", Lucas managed to say those three words despite his frustration, amusing Audrey even more. "Good then!", Audrey replied before she held on to his right arm. 

He didn't shake her off either, he loved whenever she instigated touches like that, it always made him feel giddy.

They got settled into one of the VIP rooms, launch being served some few minutes after they ordered, and Audrey couldn't get enough of Lucas 's frustrated expression.

" Could you pass the water?", "And the pepper?!", " could you help me with the beef?!", "can I taste from your plate?".

Audrey kept asking Lucas to do things she would normally do by herself just so she could get a reaction out of him, and he never even rejected her. That didn't make his alloy face budge, as Lucas just wanted more time with her

" Babe!!", Audrey called when her plan to get a reaction out of him didn't work. "Hmm!", Lucas answered maintaining eye contact, creating a giddy feeling in Audrey.

Pretending not to be affected by the exchange, Audrey decided to go straight to the point by asking why he wanted to spend more time with her than usual.

"Why do you want to spend more time, I mean like, we both have work, and we can spend time during the weekends. So why!?"

It took a while for Lucas to answer because he pondered whether or not to tell her the main reason. He came to a conclusion however, still maintaining eye contact, Lucas stretched his hands to hold her palms, "Thats cause I love you!".
