An Old Crush
"Do you have it?", Liam asked the lackey as he entered his office again In the same day. "Yes sir, I have all her details?", The lackey replied.
"Are you sure you have everything?", "I hope you didn't miss any single detail?", Liam asked without pause. He was so impatient to get the details he needed.
"Ye sir, and when I searched deeper, I found some really interesting facts!", the lackey named John said as he passed Liam the file that contained the information about Audrey.
He collected the file from John, going through the details, his smirk evident as his brain was already thinking about the next line of action.
" So, he does have someone he's dating!", Liam said going through the files, he continued, "she's pretty too. Too bad she was caught in the crosshairs of the whole thing!", Liam said as he closed the file.
" She gets to work as at a few minutes past eight in the morning, Mr Lucas Walton drives her to work too. He also drives her home each day. And that is when her security detail is most strongest!", John reported.
The crease on Liam's forehead turned even deeper as he was starting to worry. "Is their relationship announced yet?!", Liam asked, already thinking of the next line of action.
" It's more or less announced!", John said wondering the best way to describe the public status of the couple's relationship. "What do you mean by that?", Liam asked the lackey.
" They go to restaurants and other public places hand in hand, however, they haven't clarified their relationship on a public status!", John clarified.
"Well, that's better then, I want you to do something…!", Liam said indulging John in the conversation. " What's that sir?", John asked, leaning closer to the table.
"I want you to start tailing her, and when you have an opening, I want you to take her…!", " take her as how boss?", John asked, scratching the back of his head.
"Are you foolish?, what else do I mean by take her. I mean for you to kidnap her!! I'll send you an address of an abandoned ware house, I want you to check the ware house out too, so you can be familiar with the layout.!", Liam said.
" But boss, what about her security detail!", Sighing, Liam slapped his palm on his forehead. "That was why I said you do that when you have an opening!!".
" Ohh!", "you idiot, when you do that, contact me, some of my men would be there already, then we can think of the terms of her release!!", Liam said before he dismissed the lackey.

At the hospital, Emily was having a hard time formulating sentences as her broken heart was now shattered in pieces by seeing the lady so close to Lucas.
She had earlier thought he was joking, Maybe a plot to get her to stop disturbing him. Emily looked at both of them in disbelief, 'so, she was the one occupied the front passenger seat the other day!', Emily thought seeing the two all over each other.
" How are you feeling?", Audrey innocently asked as she dropped the flowers by Emily's side. Emily fostered nothing but dislike on her face by Audrey's gesture.
Tessa who saw this couldn't help but stiffle her laughter because she knew how she had warned Emily.
"Ookay!!", Audrey muttered after receiving nothing but silence from Emily. " We got you some things when we were coming, you can check them later, we need to go now!", Lucas said, emphasizing on the WE.
"When will she be discharged?", Lucas asked, his question directed towards Tessa. " In two days!", Tessa replied after schooling her facial expression.
"We got you some chocolates to make you feel…", Audrey said before she was suddenly cut off by Emily, " Tessa can you help me sit up!", Emily said intentionally cutting Audrey off as she was annoyed just hearing her voice.
Audrey masked her disappointment with an awkward smile, the little exchange which Lucas noticed. 'She was trying to be nice, yet Emily's being hostile!', Lycas thought before finally deciding to end the whole thing.
"Well, I think it's late and we have to go to work tomorrow. We'll be on our way now!", Lucas said as Audrey nodded. Emily who was about to refute checked the time to see it was indeed late.
She bid Lucas goodbye, the left side of her lip curling upwards as she suddenly thought of something. Tessa closed the door soon after, laughing to her hearts content after seeing Emily's troubled expression.
" Don't say it!", Emily said, referring to the words, 'I told you so!'. "I didn't say anything!", Tessa said, bursting into another fit of laughter.
" It's not funny so stop laughing!!", Emily said, finally discontinuing from her sick facade. "Are you going to give up now cause I'm pretty sure you weren't blind to see the two of them?!", Tessa asked as she sat on the couch in the ward.
" Leave me alone Tessa!", Emily said as she faced the other side, hoping to avoid Tessa's rants. "You better give up Em, because you weren't blind. I think it's time to find the one for you!", Tessa said standing up and approaching Emily's bed.
" Alright Tessa, now please go to sleep!", Emily said shuffling on the bed as she knew she was still going to do what she intended.
"Heyyy, are you okay?", Lucas said wrapping Audrey in a hug after noticing the contrast in her mood. Ten minutes before she was so excited to see the person who had saved his life, and while they hugged beside the car, it was evident that she was feeling bad.
" Yeah, yeah I am!", Audrey lied as she was still wrapped in their embrace. "She's just sick babe, maybe next time!", Lucas said urging her to forget Emily's hostility.
He figured that hadn't been completely honest when it came to him and Emily, so, there and then, Lucas gave her a short summary of his relationship with Emily.
" Is that why she repulsed me earlier?", Audrey asked looking up as Lucas didn't stop peppering kisses on her neck. Humming in approval, Lucas looked at her and said, "she's just an old crush, I promise!", he clarified before they headed to Audrey's place in Lucas's car.
