A Kidnap
"I have the lady sir!", John said over the phone as soon as Liam picked the call.
The sinister smirk came first before Liam responded to John, " Good then, I'll meet you at the warehouse!".
"Yes boss!", John answered before Liam continued, " Remember!! Your movements discreet. Allow no room for suspicions!", John cut the call after as he headed towards the ware house he had located earlier.
"I have you where I want now you bastard!!", Liam said, the sinister smirk still on his face as he dropped the phone on the table in front of him.
He was happy, elated even that the simplest scheme worked so well… or so he thought!.
He didn't need to be told twice before he started thinking of the terms of the lady's release. 'If I said I wanted shares, he would know it's me, hmmm, money, money will do, a very large amount!!', Liam thought.

The situation at the company was a contrast to that of Liam's mood. Some members of staff at the headquarters of Walton Globals were shocked to see multiple men heading to the control room, where the cctv camera footage were stored
It was Craig's idea to check the footage, " she can't just disappear right?!", how about we check the footage?!", criag said before Matthew deployed some men to check it out.
Donna and Seth, Audrey's personal security detail was out, going to her most and least frequented places. Even if they didn't want to think of the possibility of a kidnap, Matthew still deployed men to airports, train and bus terminals and other potential places she could have been transported.
Lucas on the other hand wasn't in his office, or at his mansion, or anywhere around where the men were searching, rather, he was at Audrey's apartment, really hoping she went there.
However when he opened the door to go inside, his heart shattered even more after seeing no sign of Audrey.
He sat on her chair, a tear drop escaping his eyelids. What pained him the most of the whole situation wasn't even because Audrey was missing, it was because she had misunderstood the situation and she left out of anger.
"It's all my fault!!! I should have laid Emily off, but I didn't!!! Now, I'm paying for it!!", Lucas said, wallowing in self pity. " She hasn't even had lunch yet!!", Lucas realized feeling even more regretful.
He just sat in that position for a few minutes before his regretful time was cut short by a call placed by Martin. " you might have to come see this!!", "what's that?!", Lucas asked curiously.
" We have a lead!!", Martin answered. "I'm on my way!!", Lucas replied before he cut the call. He was back at the company in minutes, yes, he was that worried about Audrey!!.
Donna, Seth and most of the security detail from Lucas's team were present in the control room. The air around him was even more terrifying than earlier, not just was his face aloof, he had an obvious frown.
No one could dare talk rashly, not even Matthew who joked a lot. Craig couldn't even convey the message and Matthew knew he just had to.
"Wont anybody tell me what's going on!?!", Lucas asked, his deep magnetic voice resonating in the room, scaring most of the bulky men in the room.
" Well, we were looking through the cameras like Craig suggested. At first, we found nothing suspicious, but then we looked closer, and something didn't just add up!!".
"What's that?!", Lucas's frosty voice reverberated in the room again. " Well, there's this silver Toyota Corolla which comes everyday and parks right here!", Matthew said, pointing towards the paused video.
He continued, "everyday, this car comes to park here exactly after eight in the morning, and then, we thought it was the car of a staff, but everybody knows it's company rules that staffs who are car owners should park at the basement Park!", Matthew said, Lucas nodding his head for Matthew to continue.
" The driver stays in the car through the whole day and doesn't come out, not even one time. The person drives away after five in the evening!", Matthew said.
"Plus, Donna and seth said they found something on the car!", Matthew said, Lucas facing the said people.
" we checked the plate numbers sir, and the police surveillance checked footage from the city to locate the car, but it headed out of the city!", Seth said.
"How does the car concern someone declared missing?!", Lucas asked, trying to make sense of the situation.
Taking in a deep breath, Seth said, " the car stopped right in front of miss Audrey. And since then we haven't heard word from her!", Seth said.
It didn't take a long time for Lucas to make sense of the bits of information that he was told. "It was a kidnap!", He said in realisation, already having a hunch who was behind it and their motives.
" I'm going to kill that sick son of a bitch!", Lucas said before he took heavy strides to the door. Matthew however was quick to stop him, he didn't want Lucas making any irrational decisions.
"If you kill him, how are we going to get the information from him?!", Matthew said, making sense of the situation.
" I want all the men on it, find her!!", he yelled before all of the security detail, including Donna and Seth left the control room, Seth alerting all of the men!.
You didn't think such a powerful billionaire wouldn't have resources, well, if you did, you definitely thought wrong because Lucas was loaded, very loaded.

"This her?!", One of Liam's other lackey said as soon as he opened the backseat to the Toyota Corolla used to carry out the kidnap.
" Yeah!", John answered. "She pretty!!, you think the boss would let us have a taste?!", the other lackey asked John as he ran his disgusting fingers through Audrey's luscious black hair.
" No, Jeff!!! Boss said to lock her in a room, this man ain't stupid, he's going to kill you if you touch her!", John warned before he carried Audrey into the designated room.
