Big Daddy Returns

(Jiwon's POV)

Today was the day I came back, August 6th. I was going to make it back in time for Alicia's birthday, which was awesome. I was thinking about buying her a bracelet from Pandora the jewelry store in the mall and putting our initials, A+J. We did have band camp tomorrow morning but I was worn out! It was past midnight and I was on a fifteen hour flight back. I wanted to call Alicia while I was in Korea but Jinah scolded me saying that it was a collect call and it costed money. I kept saying I would pay it but my mom begged to differ. Even if it was one in the morning I want to call her...

I picked up my phone and went to her contact and pressed the green button.

Pick up Alicia...

"Hello" Alicia answered, sounding tired.

"My Arisha" I said longingly.

"Hey Jiwon.. Are you back from your trip? " Alicia asked me.

" Yeah, I just got back" I said rubbing my eyes in exhaustion.

"Oh yay! Are you going to band camp tomorrow? " Alicia asked me.

" Nah I don't think so" I said yawning.

"Awww" Alicia complained sadly.

"I'll see you when you get home and maybe I can stay over at your house" I suggested.

"Uh...... " Alicia trailed off. She paused for almost a minute. Did I loose connection?

" Hello? " I asked.

No response. It's not like our phones to loose connection like that...

I hung up confused and worried. Did she not want to see me or did we really loose connection? Did something happen? It has been two months so I expect that something has changed, like her begging to come see me right now! What is her deal?!

I swear if she cheated on me...! No... I went to Korea with my family to learn trust. I had very serious trust issues that I never told anyone about and that's why we stayed a month longer. My cousin Jennifer was an expert in this stuff. Jieun also helped me but she did seem to have a minor crush on me so I tried to stay away from her as much as possible. We were family and I didn't appreciate Jinah always snapping pictures everytime she hugged me! But anyways, now I think I can trust Alicia, hopefully. I just hope everything is alright...

I woke up at three in the afternoon still feeling tired. Travelling overseas really takes it out of you. I feel bad missing a whole week that was necessary of band camp but I sure the hell needed my vacation. My mom and sister loved it there as much as I did. It was a great experience. Now we're back in Fayetteville. Haha it's a shame how little there is to do here compared to Korea.

I had gotten dressed and cleaned up and I was prepared to go to Alicia's house. She should be back by now, it was 5:30. Band camp was eight in the morning till four in the afternoon so she should be ready for my arrival.

After begging my mom to drive me over here I was actually pretty scared. I hadn't seen my Arisha in two months. She didn't even say she wanted to see me last night...

"Are you going to see the Arisha or did I drive over her for nothing Jiwon? " my mom asked me.

" Oh, yes mom" I said coming back from my deep thoughts. I jumped out of the car and ran to the house. I rang the doorbell and waited... and waited... and waited. Well isn't this some Bullness! I pulled out my phone and called Alicia.

Riiiiiiing

"Sup" Alicia said in the voice mail box making me think she really answered.

"The person you have called is not available, please leave a message after the beep"

Beep

"Alicia, it's Jiwon. I'm at your house now and your not here... Just call me when you get this" I said ending the voice mail. I went back to my car thinking, 'Is she avoiding me?'. I hopped back in my mom's car and the time I did she started going off on me.

"I drove you all the way here and she not here! Why you not call her! I was the snoring and now I gotta drive you around for no reason" my mom started, getting on my nerves. I tuned her out thinking what I did to deserve this. I wanted to see my Arisha.

'I want to see you as soon as possible' I texted her. I looked at my phone for a reply the whole way home getting glances from my mom.

"Jiwon, what did you do? " my mom asked me.

" Nothing! I just got home yesterday " I complained.

" Lies" my mom said.

"You're the person who wouldn't let me call her. You and Jinah were like 'Oh it's a collect call' you pieces of junk! " I yelled. I felt tears falling down my face and I blushed in embarrassment.

" Don't call me that! Jiwon... I'll take you back tomorrow " my mom said pulling in the garage.

" I'm sorry. Thanks" I said jumping out of the car and running to my room. I locked the door behind me and layed my head down in my pillows.

"ARISHA!!" I started yelling in my pillow. What the hell is wrong with me?! How dare her make me cry like this. Maybe she went out to eat to celebrate her finishing band camp for the second time and had her phone on silent. Maybe... She rather see Antonio than me... I know I say I don't get jealous all the time but I do. If I ever heard that Alicia cheated on me... I don't know what I would do.
