39 Chapter 39 The Promise

"Oh, this one came with a lot of energy," George says, grabbing a ball from Missy in the street.

"Energy is a good thing, isn't it?" Missy asks her father.

"George, Missy, come to lunch," Mary appears at that moment calling them for lunch.

George enters Missy's room, sees his daughter crying, and says, "Missy, want to play ball?" She responds with a teary voice, "No!! Go away!!"
