28 Chapter 28 Discovered?
"And what's there to do around here that's interesting?" Paige asks Connor, who got up from bed and was changing his shirt.
"For now, breakfast. I just woke up, against my will. What were you expecting?" Connor grumbles as he gestures for the girls to follow him for breakfast.
On the way to the kitchen, Missy asks Paige, who was beside her, "So Paige, how long do you plan on staying here?"
Paige puts her fingers to her lips in a thoughtful gesture, tilting her head slightly to the side, and says, "I don't know. I want to stay here for quite some time. But it all depends on my parents and your mom."
"And school?" Missy asks.
"I don't have to worry about that. I finished high school at 8 years old. Now I'm figuring out which university to go to."
"So you really are a genius. I thought Connor was lying to me," Missy says, a little sad about the situation. She thought she would have a normal friend to play tea party with, do makeup, and talk about boys.
Seeing Missy like that, I say, "Don't worry, Missy. Paige isn't like Sheldon. She's a genius, but a good genius. Not... Sheldon."
"And Paige, don't worry. I'll talk to your parents, relax. I'm sure they'll let you stay here for quite some time, if I can convince them," I say calmly to them.
Anyway, having Paige with us here can make things much more interesting.
I say as I walk ahead towards the kitchen.
Paige slows her steps and turns to Missy, asking, "What did Connor say about me?" and Missy gets excited and says, "I'll tell you tonight," with a mischievous smile on her face.
Both girls were talking behind me in signs.
"Achoo!"
I sneeze and wonder if someone is talking about me behind my back as we enter the kitchen and only see Sheldon, Georgie Jr, and Paige's sister having breakfast.
When Sheldon sees Paige, it's like he got a shock and froze in place. I'm sure in his little head, he saw the three calamities together to destroy him.
And he quickly goes on guard as if at any moment one of the three would suddenly hit him.
Georgie Jr looks at his brother and thinks of something but quickly forgets when he gazes in awe at the dark-haired girl in front of him.
And he starts talking, "So, Erica, right?" George, who had already finished his coffee, was talking to the girl in front of him.
"Yes, and you should be?" Erica asks the handsome boy in front of her.
"I'm Georgie, nice to meet you," George says as he extends his hand for a handshake.
"Pleasure to meet you too," Erica shakes Georgie's hand and says.
"If I were you, I wouldn't shake that hand, who knows where it's been," Sheldon says, busy separating the letters of his cereal.
"Forget him, he just talks nonsense," Georgie says a bit quickly. "But hey, you wanna see something interesting?"
As soon as George said that, Erica looked at her sister, who was chatting and laughing with Connor and Missy, and thought 'Why not?'
"Sure, why not!" Erica says to Georgie. "Then follow me, I'll show you something interesting."
As soon as Georgie said that, he took Erica's hand and guided her to Connor's cabin in the woods.
Arriving there, Georgie shows a broken television and says, "See that television?"
"Yes," Erica asks confused.
At this moment, George pulls out an AMT Hardballer Pistol.
Bamp Bamp Bamp
And fires three sequential shots at the television, turning to Erica who didn't expect the situation to unfold so unexpectedly.
And Georgie asks, "Wanna try?"

Connor responds, "This song is called La Vie En Rose, it's very beautiful. But I must say, Paige, I only sang it once and you remember all the lyrics to the point of singing along? And I must admit, your voice is beautiful."
I say to Paige, who was sitting in the armchair next to Missy, her face slightly flushed.
"Alright, it's almost bedtime. You guys need to get ready and put on your pajamas."
"Just a little longer, please, sing just a bit more!" Missy pleads for me to sing one last song.
"Alright, but this is the last one." I grab my guitar and start singing.

"Alright, girls, bedtime. Go change your clothes," I say hastily, putting away the guitar.
Some time later...
"So... why are you guys in my room again?"
"I thought it would be more fun to spend the night in your room," says Paige.
"And Sheldon won't stop complaining that Paige is invading his life and blah blah blah," says Missy. "So we decided to sleep here."
I slap my forehead tiredly and say, "Alright, you can stay but you have to be quiet!"
"We promise!" says Missy and Paige in unison.
"Then you can have the bed, I'll get a tent to sleep in."
Inside the tent in the garage, everything was dark. Connor was on his MacBook looking for new investment opportunities when suddenly...
"Zeeeep Zip."
"Connor, I can't sleep... what is this?" asks Paige, who had completely invaded the tent, pointing at the MacBook. At that moment, I have an internal struggle and confusion in my mind.
If I put the MacBook in my inventory, it would be much more suspicious, an object disappearing out of nowhere.
While I was trying to come up with an excuse to say, Paige came to my side and looked at the computer screen.
"Is this a computer? The screen is so thin, I've never seen one of these," asks Paige, looking at the computer filled with graphics.
At that moment, I come up with an excuse. "No, this is nothing," and I close the computer and hide it under the pillow.
At this moment, Paige looks at me as if I'm an idiot and says, "So, you think I'm going to tell anyone about this, right? That's your fear, isn't it?" Paige asks in a whispering tone.
"I won't tell anyone, but you have to show me what it is and teach me how to use it," says Paige in a mischievous tone while she sees the tent zipper, leaving me no choice.
