65 Naruto Versus Menma Part 1

One Month Later,

Naruto, Menma, and all of the Konoha fifteen were gathered at the arena. Of course, except for them, there were also many other people including the common people who came to watch this battle.

At this moment, the momentum of the Chunin Exam has reached its peak. But, for some people, it didn't matter.

They were just excited to release everything in their arsenal.

"Ahem! It seems like everyone is excited about the upcoming battles. Genma, without further ado, let's start the final stage of the Chunin Exam!"

Third Hokage who was sitting on the tall building spoke. Next to him was a man with a blue and white dress. His face was covered with a veil.

During this whole month, Menma did nothing to change Naruto. Everything happened as it was supposed to happen.

Because of the death of Hayate, Genma became the proctor of the exam. He vanished from Hokage's side and appeared in the arena.

"Alright, everyone! Since all the participants have already arrived in the arena, let's start the competition."

As he said, he pointed his hand at the big screen which showed the first match-up.

The crowd burst into cheers as Naruto and Menma jumped into the Arena.

"Naruto-kun, come on!"

Hinata mustered up her courage and finally yelled.

Her words made a lot of people turn their heads and stare at her with astonished expressions.

Even her father Haishi who was sitting next to his second daughter found it a bit strange.

After all, Hinata was a shy person. For her to scream like that, he clenched his fist and stared at Naruto with powerful momentum.

"It seems like Hinata has already chosen her side. So, what about you guys?" Kurenai smiled and looked at Kiba and Shino with a curious gaze.

"Of course, I am going to cheer both of them."

"Menma, Naruto, come on!" Kiba instantly raised his hands and shouted.

"Although Menma is helpful to us, our relationship with Naruto is much stronger. And, only one can win in this battle. So, I will cheer up Naruto."

Shino made a logical explanation but didn't make any cheers.

"Naruto, come on! You must smash Menma." Sakura who remembered how Menma treated Sasuke immediately supported Naruto.

Sasuke didn't say anything. He was just watching the battle. Before he came here, Kakashi appeared in front of him and said.

'Carefully watch today's battle! You will find the answer yourself.'

Because he didn't know what to choose, he asked Kakashi about it. But, Kakashi didn't answer him. He just said that he didn't know the answer.

Because only Sasuke can find the answer.

So, he was watching this battle with full attention.

Others also started cheering for Naruto and Menma.

"Menma, come on!" "Menma, you must win!"

Suddenly, specific cheers rang in his head as he turned around and saw his mother, father, sister, and Karin in the audience.

Naruto also followed his gaze and smiled.

"It seems like you have another reason not to lose."

"Yeah! But, it's not like you will give me an easy, win. Right, Naruto?"

Menma smirked and asked.

"Of course not! This might be the last time I will get to fight you with my full strength. There is no way I am going to lose."

Naruto clenched his fists and his momentum burst out.

His enormous Chakra was just like an aura, coming out of him.

"That's Chakra!"

Suddenly, someone from the audience shouted in shock.

Although Chakra could be materialized, it was hard to imagine seeing Chakra overflowing like this.

"Only he has the audacity to release Chakra like this!" Kakashi couldn't help but chuckle. He was a bit envious of Naruto's enormous Chakra Reserve.

'Damn it, Naruto! You are already so far ahead of me.'

Seeing this Chakra release, he couldn't help but remember the sheer pressure that Menma gave him after returning to the village.

He was sure that Naruto learned this trick from Menma.

Naruto slowly raised his fist and his momentum calmed down.

The next moment, both of them rushed toward each other. Their forearms collided, creating a powerful shock out of them.

Naruto quickly raised his leg and kicked from the side. But, Menma was also fast. He quickly swung his hand and blocked the attack.

This made Naruto narrow his eyes. But, he didn't stop.

In an instant, Naruto released a green chakra all over his body. This was a massive boost in strength.

"What? Eight Inner Gates?"

Menma originally thought Naruto would use nine tails chakra to boost his strength but seeing Eight Inner Gates, he was stunned.

But, the next moment, he let out a 'tch' from his mouth and said.

"I am afraid, it's barely qualified."

The next moment, Naruto and Menma started exchanging punches and kicks. Menma had permanently opened his eight three gates which increased his strength exponentially.

Originally, it was above normal Naruto but when Naruto used Eight Inner Gates, he instantly surpassed Menma in strength.

"Menma, this time I won't let you keep any trump card."

Naruto shouted as he punched Menma in his chest.

But, that Menma turned into smoke and disappeared.

"Shadow Clone? When?"

Naruto was shocked for a moment. He suddenly sensed something below and he quickly jumped.

After escaping Menma's clutches, Naruto quickly released Shadow Clone in mid-air. They caught his body and threw him toward the ground at a fast pace.

But, Naruto only managed to make a hole in the ground. Dust rose from the ground as Menma emerged from the hole in front of Naruto. He instantly caught Naruto off guard and gathered his Chakra at his fist.

[Heaven Breaking Fist]

Menma punched out with an extremely powerful Chakra Enhanced Strength.

He smashed Naruto into the ground but when he did that, he realized something was wrong.

Naruto had turned into a shadow clone. And, his real body burst out behind Menma.

Naruto quickly made hand signs and released a wind blade.

This wind blade was nearly ten meters long and a meter wide. It was extremely fast as well.

"Don't think this can beat me, Naruto!"

Bang!

Menma used Chakra Enhanced Strength and turned around. He smashed the wind blade with his bare hand.

While the wind blade managed to pierce his skin, it was also destroyed by Menma.

Suddenly, a green glow appeared on Menma's hand as it started healing his wound.

"Wait, is that Healing Jutsu?" Asuma shouted while watching the battle. Many heard his voice and looked at Menma in shock.

"Yes, that looks like Mystical Palm Jutsu but how is he doing this?" Sakura looked at Kakashi with confusion.

"I am not sure but this is definitely a Sealless Jutsu. He has directly achieved a state where he doesn't need a seal to perform a Jutsu." Kakashi looked at Menma in shock.

"Wait, doesn't that mean he can't be killed?" Sakura asked in shock.

"No, but as long as he has Chakra, he will be able to heal with ease." Kakashi answered.

"Mr. Hokage, it seems like Konoha is truly a center of geniuses. You managed to produce a Ninja who can do Healing Jutsu without a seal."

Seeing Menma using Healing Jutsu without any seal, he couldn't help but remember his old friend.

Although he was playing the role of the fourth Kazekage, he was none other than Orochimaru.

"His teacher is Tsunade. She must have taught him this Jutsu." Hiruzen simply smiled and answered.

Hearing his words, Orochimaru also smiled inside the veil and said.

"Is that so?"

Obviously, he didn't think Hiruzen was telling the truth. Unlike Hiruzen, he knows Tsunade the best. He even knows what kind of Ninjutsu Tsunade could utilize and what happens after utilizing that Ninjutsu.

Unlike Tsunade, Menma has no marking around his body which means it wasn't her Creation Rebirth Jutsu.

Rather, it was his own Sealless Healing Jutsu.

'Interesting! Is this one who has the most credit for training this batch of Konoha Genins?' Orochimaru couldn't help but feel interested in Menma.

Unfortunately, Menma had no way of knowing that. His eyes were just focused on Naruto.

"Damn it! Is Naruto really trying to kill Menma?" Sakura shouted in shock. Although she wanted Naruto to teach Menma a lesson, she didn't want him to die.

At this moment, Menma stopped making hand seals and shouted.
